Had a really great experience with the Hotel & Spa, especially with the Health section in it as we used Pool, Sauna and steam facilities along with Gym. Rooms were clean and large. Lunch and breakfast also was great and was beyond the expectations.

My friend and I stayed at the Belfry for a night on a spa package and it was the perfect night’s getaway. It was quite the maze to find our room, but once we were in, it was great. It was really spacious, with a comfy bed and a fantastic shower. The room is really well equipped with hairdryer, shower gel etc but reception will also provide you with any essentials you may have forgotten. The spa area itself could do with a sprucing up (the thermal shower was broken and the pool area needs a bit of a scrub) but the treatment rooms are nice and my masseuse, Donna, was AMAZING! In the short time she had, she managed to really work the knots in my back and I have already felt the difference. I’d go back to the Belfry just to get another massage from Donna. The food at the Belfry exceeded our expectations. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent (I had the sea bass in oyster sauce which was yum) and the breakfast was also really good with a fantastic selection of hot and cold items. Our server at dinner was Lauren, and she was such a delight, pandering to our many requests and putting up with our indecisiveness. The Bar staff were super friendly, but some of the cocktails are premixed which isn’t worth £12 a pop in my opinion. Loved the cookie on arrival, that was such a brilliant touch! All in all, would definitely recommend the Belfry and we’ll be back for another relaxing weekend.

We had a great stay, big thanks to Danielle on reception for her help with welcome, and the pool table, we have 2 boys who played a lot of pool during our stay. The gym, sauna, steam room and swimming pool are clean and well looked after, and the staff are great. The buffet breakfast is as you'd expect, hot and lots 😀, and sets you up for the day, and is served till 9.30am. The evening meal has a good menu, the bacon cheese burger's were particularly popular. The rooms were clean and very quiet, so all in a great place to stay.

We were staying for a conference which had a "Gala dinner" included. To start, the bar we went to had only one staff member who was doing her best, but we had to queue for about 20 mins. My starter was missing part of it. The risotto main taste was not nice and the courgette was hard and not grilled. The dessert was delicious. It was a slow service again, I think they were short staffed. The meals we had at the conference were haphazard - long queue and dishes empty by the time we arrived to help ourselves - buffet-style. The pudding had run out by the time I had finished my main. The food was topped up, but too late, it was time to go back to lectures. The coffee machines run out of coffee/chocolate and I didn't see these topped up. The hotel looks run down in a lot of areas and done up in others. It's a shame the name Hilton, makes you think luxury and great food, etc... but not on this occasion, a shame.

Had a spa experience booked here. Sullen staff on the whole. Expected to know things that were not told to us and then had sulky restaurant manager take it out on us because we were never told to pre-book our lunch. Waited a good half an hour for a Greek salad in an empty restaurant. Pool is small but then roped off for at least a dozen children having swimming lessons. Parents watching through the glass as we ‘relaxed.’ Sat in lounge after a fantastic facial and staff started wiping down the coffee tables around and between us. Took cups away and no hot water for the drinks by 4.30 although session was until 5! Wouldn’t go again.
