We stayed in a ground floor studio suite with two primary school children and two adults for a long weekend. We were very pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. It's modern, spotless, very large room, sofa, dining table and full kitchen with oven, micro, dishwasher and washing machine. Beautiful and clean shower room. Very large, secure terrace looking out on to the fields and golf course. This is possible the nicest accommodation we have stayed in in the UK and so well equipped that we have been able to get food from the local M&S and eat in. We have had a drink in the bar and eaten at the restaurant. Reasonably priced and again really great food. Breakfast was perhaps a little less choice than other places (often more pastries/ waffles, fresh fruit) but what was provided was really well cooked and of good quality. We also arrived quite late for breakfast so possible they had just run out. All in all its a brilliant place and we hope to come again.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Lovely lady took my booking on the phone and helped me with the things I needed for my mum. Such as accessibility and a walk in shower. Great price including breakfast. Staff really lovely. Excellent food at dinner. Breakfast was great everything was really good.

Nice room. Shame the view was looking into the car park. We were there for two nights and checked in around 1am. The room was very warm so that was an extra bonus in winter. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. It's a short drive to Chipping Norton where we went to see a pantomime. Nice and relaxing stay.

I stayed here for one night with some friends as a mini break. The hotel is well maintained and clean, with the rooms being well sized. Staff are friendly and were happy to help with any questions. The rooms have a strange layout, which makes most things unusable. There were some uncomfortable chairs, an uncomfortable sofa, and an embarrassingly small tv attached to the wall. The bathroom is great, albeit a bit cold It should be noted that the bed is just two singles pushed together. Our rooms came with dinner and breakfast. The dinner was completely average. The breakfast was a beige buffet expertly cooked by Chef Mic(rowave). I would strongly suggest not eating here until they drastically improve the quality of their kitchen and change food suppliers.

Me and my partner decided to take a weekend off and go down to the Cotswolds recently and selected this hotel on price. It was about 2/3 the price of other local hotels around the area. Don’t make the same mistake as us! When we arrived the car park was packed and turns out that there was a huge wedding on over the weekend and maybe 90% of the guests were there for that. We hadn’t been notified of this beforehand, otherwise we would have decided to book somewhere else for a quiet weekend getaway. I’ve since spoken to customer services that say they can’t share private information. I didn’t want their names and address. Just to know the hotel was at max capacity for a loud event! This coupled with the fact the walls are paper thin, our first room was next to the doorway into our block of rooms and that wedding guests left kids (maybe aged 7-13?) unattended from around 9pm-gone midnight meant we didn’t sleep a lot once the guests were getting up at 6am to start getting ready. The hotel were pretty good about us moving rooms after the first night and to give them some credit they did give us an upgrade to a suite which was appreciated. But here’s where the real problems started. After going to bed at 9pm as we didn’t sleep the night before our neighbours decided to come back at 1am and start a drug fuelled party in the suite next door (we could hear them discussing this as they left to collect said drugs) after discussing (minus expletives) how they didn’t care about the noise and having neighbours. This carried on until about 5am. My real problem with the hotel though is the customer service department. After providing video proof of our stay they have told us the fault is ours. That we should have contacted the night porter to complain. Whilst that sounds like a great idea I didn’t want 4-5 intoxicated men knowing we had grassed them up, shouldn’t the night porter be doing rounds and picking up on an after party that went on for 4 hours? To top it off they offered a 10% off a future stay when it’s quite apparent we have no interest to return. And now they’ve stopped responding to any emails I send querying escalating it. Don’t stay at this hotel if you want to sleep. And please don’t reply to this with a generic “contact our services department on this email” because I’ve done that, and you’ve stopped replying!
