Our venue provides luxurious overnight accommodation for up to 31 guests, top quality catering services, various function rooms, a fine-dining restaurant, and a dedicated team to ensure your event runs smoothly.

    What a beautiful place to stay! The hotel is stunning and decorated so well to embrace both its history and also the modern world we live in today. The rooms felt luxurious and the common areas felt welcoming and relaxing. The staff, without exception were absolutely delightful and I just couldn’t fault the service at both dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious and it felt that a lot of love and attention went into its preparation. The surroundings are just gorgeous with well kept gardens and courtyards. I would highly recommend The Old Hall and will most certainly be back again!

    Celebrated our 30yr anniversary there. The room was so lovely. The whole venue was tastefully and beautifully decorated. Workmanship on the building was to a high standard. A special mention to Amelia who is a credit to The Old Hall. She was so lovely to chat to, very attentive, went out of her way for us and very cheerful. Amelia's cocktail making skills are the best! The grounds are gorgeous. Breakfast and dinner was also to a high standard.

    This is without doubt one of the best places I’ve stayed at in a while. The grounds and gardens were amazing, really creating the perfect ambiance for some quiet time. The room was lovely and had a great view of the gardens. It was quiet and airy, very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was delicious, providing a good range of options to cater for a range of tastes and preferences. The special touch of tea and cake in the drawing room made my day complete.

    The Old Hall Ely was an exceptional venue for my friend's wedding this weekend. I was the best man so I was there for the full day and stayed over for the night with my wife. The staff were attentive and helpful with all the requests we made during the day, with a lovely friendly manner. The food was delicious, some of the best wedding food I have ever had. All elements were executed really consistently and to a high level. Bar staff worked quickly and were very great. The location was breathtaking with lovely views of Ely cathedral and with the gardens and buildings complementing each other beautifully. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The only thing I would change would be the introduction of air-conditioning, they did provide a Dyson fan but the room still was very warm. The following morning breakfast was delicious with lots of choices and the different elements of the breakfast were of a very high standard again. I would definitely recommend this venue, it was great from start to finish. The one thing I would ask them to change would be the 10 am check out time. I understand the reasoning behind it so the next wedding can be prepared for, however it did mean the following morning did feel quite rushed. Thanks to all the staff for making my friend's wedding such a memorable day.

    We recently got married at The Old Hall Ely, we first saw the location when we were venue hunting, we had seen a few by the time our appointment was booked at The Old Hall and as soon as we saw it we fell in love with the whole venue. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained equally is the venue and everything about it inside and out. Our wedding meetings were with Emma who was always so helpful and informative. Our wedding went very well, with all staff on hand to help where or if needed. . We can’t fault The Old Hall and would recommend to our family and friends.
