Everything was great and the staff are excellent, my room was on the front and quite noisy, a reasonable trade off for the good location though. For safety reasons I guess, our windows would only open a few inches which didn't help as the room was really warm and sadly no air conditioning. It didn't detract from our fab weekend and would stay again

Nice large superior room though no drawer storage for a 3 day stay. Unfortunately the small fan provided didn't help us sleep as room was so hot (windows don't open). Leisure centre is fine but steam room out of order and lots of stairs to negotiate. I'd recommend taking flip flops.

I had a terrible impression from the moment I arrived. I arrived late at night, tired, with two large suitcases, and the hotel has many stairs. The hotel staff just watched as I carried the suitcases up the stairs, without offering help at any point. The reception and stairs are beautiful, but unfortunately, the rooms are not. And again, the hotel has many, many stairs with no one to help you carry your luggage. I do not recommend it for people with mobility issues. The only good part of this hotel is the location, which couldn't be better.

Location of hotel is perfect for being in the middle of Newcastle and had food in small restaurant which was decent, but unfortunately that is the only positive. Rooms are dark dingy and dirty. We paid nearly £700 for 3 nights, but had to climb over each other to get in and out of bed. We asked for a room change which was refused so had to move bed. Bed was ripped, cracks in roof. Someone's finger nails on carpet. Unfortunately won't stay again. Would have left but money non refundable and no rooms in area due to event.

The location of this hotel is really the biggest thing it has going for it. Right next to the train station you can get in and out very quickly. The service was fine-we did not interact with the staff enough to truly get a feel for anything. However, the room was very bad. Musty, moldy, with cracked titles and stained drapes and sheets. In one bed the sheets weren't even put on right. The towels while smelling and looking clean had pieces of dried grass on some of them.
