December 2024We were in this beautiful hotel from december 16 until december 20 2024. We arrived in the morning and had a very warm welcome by Victoria. She helped us very nice and gave us also some tips. She offered also a wheelchair which was a great pleasure for us, because of my walking disability and the streets in Newcastle are going up and down, which is very tiring with a walker. The room we had was clean, comfortable and modern. Very nice. We had no dinner at the hotel, but we did have breakfast which was very good. All the staff we spoke toke the time and was very kind to us. I surely recommend this hotel. We had a fantastic time. PS: Our daughter found her keys.

December 2024My stay at the Maldron Hotel Newcastle was fantastic. The rooms were clean, and very comfortable, offering everything I needed for a relaxing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring my visit was smooth and enjoyable. The location was ideal, with easy access to Newcastle’s main restaurants, and shopping areas. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily stay there again.

November 2024It is a nice hotel in a very central location in Newcastle. The room had a very small window but otherwise supplied everything you might need. We took up the three course meal deal for £22 which is excellent value for a hotel. Sadly, the choice was very restricted and quite uninspiring. Otherwise we were very satisfied with our choice.

December 2024Nice hotel and staff in a great location. The things that would make us think twice about staying there again may not sound important to most, but to us they were. There was not a fan in the bathroom to vent the steam when showering. There was a circle above the shaving ONLY outlet, but no clue what that was, and no switch. The bathroom walls, floor, mirror, and shelf with all of our toiletries would get wet. Therefore, if someone wanted to change their cloths in there, or get dressed after showering, do hair or makeup, it was all wet and steamy. You definitely could not put clothes in there for changing. There was no hairdryer. Luckily we were able to ask for one, but have never been in a room without one provided before. Also, no outlet to use one in the bathroom. The beds have a box frame around them and rollers in the middle on the floor. No matter how many times we tried turning the wheels to be even with the bed, they stuck out. Between hitting our toes on the box frame and stubbing our toes on those wheels, it was frustrating and painful! One of my toes was bloody! The last thing was the lack of space for suitcases. There was an open closet, but no luggage rack, and was not wide enough to lay out one suitcase. We had one case in there open in a V shape, and then the other had to be on the table! Again, something we have never experienced. To end on a positive, the hotel was incredibly quiet! Although, we never saw anyone in our 5 days on our floor, so maybe we were the only ones? The beds were the most comfortable and cozy beds ever! We slept great, bloody toes and all!
