The perfect city hotel. Great location. Ultra friendly staff Good parking, reasonably priced. Big rooms. Comfy beds 2nd time I've stopped here and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

We got a fantastic river view room with bottle of prosecco and breakfast for just £89. Absolutely brilliant location. Great buffet breakfast with so much choice of hot and cold food. Wide variety of hot drinks too. Super comfy beds. There's limited space in car park which is £8.50. We discovered you can park in Encore Ramada hotel just up from here for just £10 which is secure. Only negative was that toiletries are screwed to the wall. It's not easily accessible if you want a bath. But it's not a big deal.

Friendly and warm welcome on Check-in, we was an hour earlier and managed to get our rooms still which was great, staff friendly, rooms are clean, great size, comfortable, located on the river and only 5 minutes walk in to town. £8-£10 for a taxi if you want to be quicker which is not a bad price. Security on an evening checking names on entry which is good means no one can just walk in etc, Great hotel

TV didn't work properly, hallways and elevators weren't exactly clean. Bathroom was okay. The room never really got dark because the hallway light under the door was too bright. It would also get quite noisy. I wouldn't like to stay here again. The rest of the room was okay though.

I recently stayed at this so-called "4-star" hotel, and I have to say it was a complete joke. The place is outdated and stuck in the past with its old-fashioned decor and lack of basic amenities. Imagine a hotel without laundry bags or even slippers—absolute bare minimums that they somehow managed to overlook. The room didn't even have a fridge or a locker, which is ridiculous for a hotel that dares to call itself "luxury." The worst part? The gatekeepers were rude and completely unprofessional. They acted like they were doing me a favor just by letting me in. Their attitude was appalling, and it set the tone for an overall miserable experience. Save your money and sanity—there are plenty of actual 4-star hotels out there that understand what hospitality means. This place doesn't deserve even one star, let alone four.
