Lovely hotel, nice albeit small spa area with swimming pool. A nice overall feel and ambience. Harry's for dinner is super, good food and good service at a decent price. Been twice now, will definitely stay next time we are in the area. If this was local to us we would use the spa and Harry's semi frequently. Stayed in the stables conversion. Lovely queen (they say it's king but..) bed in a thatched roof crescent of rooms. Nice 😍

Horwood House Hotel is by far the best hotel i have stayed in. Set in a stunning location of the Country house estate. The service was first class, from arriving early and the receptionist going out of her way to try and get me into my room early, from the friendly and welcoming staff in the restaurant for breakfast and Harry's Bar. The room was excellent, which was clean and tidy with lots of facilities including a nice size fridge. Spar and pool were both very nice features, again with very friendly and accommodating staff. Overall i left the hotel very satisfied and have booked a course of treatments with the spa and further stays in the Hotel.

Great hotel with clean good sized rooms with everything you need, including an iron. The food was tasty from decent sized portions for the evening meals and a good selection for the buffet breakfast in 1911. A special mention to Natalie in Harrys Bar who was friendly and always happy to help with a smile. She is a credit to the hotel!

went with the summer offer of £189 for a one night stay including a drinks voucher and £60 off the food bill in Harry’s bar. Room - Comfy king size bed. TV, safe and fridge in the room. Tower fan provided as there is no air con. Shower wasn’t very powerful. Strangely no mirror on the wall behind the dressing table. Spa - 15m swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Only three cushioned loungers which were hard to get on. Three other loungers and two hard back ones. Nice courtyard outside the spa with egg chairs. Food - Breakfast was very good full English but also plenty of fruit and cereal options. Harry’s bar for dinner had the steak which was good. Pint was £5.50 and a bottle of wine £35 Overall we found it very good value for money and would return

I was staying for 2 nights and checked out after the first night. The pool area is nice but doesn’t open until 7.30, so no good for business meetings and if you arrive 5 minutes early you are told to ‘go back to your room and wait!’. Room key didn’t work after a very long way to room with heavy bags…. Revert all the way back with heavy bags. Room service don’t answer, food cold, delivered without drinks and then the following morning delivered without cutlery…. Catalogue of errors! (There’s more!) Nice location though!
