Located in a late Victorian courthouse on Deansgate, next door to Spinningfields, our aim is to serve the best steaks in Manchester. The interior is true to the building and features lots of reclaimed materials from the era, including parquet flooring from a (different) courthouse, panelling from Birmingham’s Sandwell College and (well-cleaned) glazed bricks from a public lavatory in Liverpool. The menu in our restaurant features the very best dry-aged beef, sustainable seafood and seasonal farm produce from the UK. You can also dine and drink in our bar featuring award-winning cocktails and nibbles including The Hawksmoor Burger and our British Jersey Rock oysters in 3 ways – natural, with bone marrow or Vietnamese-style. If you’d prefer more intimate dining, for small groups and celebrations we have a private dining room that seats 10-14.
Hawksmoor Manchester is available for full restaurant hire, availability can depend on time of year booking, and all requests are dealt with on a bespoke and tailored basis.

TERMS & CONDITIONS To secure your reservation we simply require a set of card details in order to secure the reservation. The card on file will be charged in case you cancel with less than 7 days in advance, reduce numbers on the day or the party fails to attend. The charge is £25 per person.

Incredible experience. We went to town and the food was perfectly done, nothing we would change at all. Service was wonderful, attentive without being over the top. Great chat with the sommelier too. A real treat for an evening.

Superb service, best care and attention to assure the customer has a memorable experience, not just a meal out. We knew we were in a good place from the moment we crossed the front door. Excellent staff, superb food. From the moment you walk through the door the service is very friendly and professional from the guys recommending cocktails in the bar to the extremely accommodating front of house. (Especially the lady with the forearm mandala style tattoo.) We all thought our steaks were superb and the sides to match. I have to admit that the Jungle Formula cocktail was the only thing I wouldn’t recommend. It was pretty disgusting but didn’t distract from the evening as the staff offered a replacement and were more than happy to mix a cocktail that wasn’t on the menu. I was too busy enjoying everything to get decent photos. We will return.

We went there to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The waiter Danny was super friendly and nice. He explained well about the food and dishes. We enjoyed the starters very much, especially the oysters and bone marrow, the scallops and smoked mackerel with potatoes salads are nice too. The main courses we tried were the monk fish and chateaubriand steak, with Caesar salad and smashed potatoes. Danny arranged a secret coattail to the birthday girl and we all had a wonderful dinner together.

Super nice servers and ambience. We got the roast beef Sunday roast. Let me warn you, it’s super fatty, to the point of overwhelming other flavors. You need to drench everything in the gravy, the dish doesn’t make sense if you don’t. The meat is hard to cut through.
