We're Manchester's top secret cocktail bar, hidden behind an old laundrette. You’ll step through a disguised door in a vending machine to find a sophisticated, three-floor cocktail bar.
We offer a unique experience with full table service, where our amazing staff guide you through a seriously impressive cocktail menu. Each floor has its own bar, which you can hire as a single unit or as three separate spaces.
For something extra special, we've got "Narnia"—a secret room behind a wardrobe that fits up to 20 guests. Our venue is full of surprises, with hidden doors leading to secret rooms, photo booths, and even a slide.
Oh, and our luxurious bathrooms often host DJs on the weekends, turning your night out into something truly unforgettable!
We're situated 60 yards away from Shudehill Tram Stop and 0.2 miles walk from Manchester Victoria Train Station
We offer booth seating for up to 80 guests, with an additional 40 standing. Our booths come in various sizes, accommodating groups from 2, 4 & 6 people. At the heart of the space is a stylish central cocktail bar, perfect for keeping the drinks flowing throughout your event.

Amazing experience. The entrance is really quirky, and the drinks are to die for. Coco Pops was an actual bowl of cereal you mix with milk (and alcohol) which was just so uniquely cool. Ye olde sweet shoppe came with actual candy too! Made me feel like a child again. Awesome night out, really good atmosphere too. Staff are very chilled and you can relax here. 💳 Accepts card payments ♿️ Up narrow stairs

always love visiting the washouse! The drinks are so incredible, I love how every drink has a different story ( this time conspiracies) their new menu of drinks involved different conspiracy theories which I found very cool The staff are so lovely and attentive and always want you to have a lovely time . Which I always find so lovely and having a good chat with them . As much as the drinks are on the pricey side with around £15 a drink . I don’t mind on the one off with how cool the drinks are :) 👍🏽

Went here as we were looking for a different experience. This certainly met the criteria in a very good way. Entering the bar through a vending machine and the conspiracy theory cocktails certainly gave this place an unexpected novelty factor which we really enjoyed. The service was outstanding and the staff knew their facts when it came to the drinks. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants to make a memorable evening. There are only snacks available here as it is primarily a cocktail bar.

Based on reviews, I booked the table at The Washhouse, and it was definitely worth its hype. The novelty factor alone makes it a must-visit at least once. From the very beginning, the experience was well organized, the Top secret menu 😅, with our tables available right on time. The ambiance inside was lovely, filled with quirky and mysterious charm that added to the overall experience. The cocktails were amazing our group of four all enjoyed our drinks thoroughly. However, I found the cocktails to be a bit on the sweeter side for my personal taste. Not much snacks.. just crisps n olives Overall, The Washhouse delivers on its reputation with its unique concept and great drinks. It's a fantastic spot to enjoy a night out with friends.

Very interesting and unique bar. Treated my friends to a couple of drinks and we were not disappointed. It's NOT one of those places where they put on a show and then disappoint with the drinks; they were very well made, thought out and special. A really nice + fun location if you want something different. It's also a bigger place, so you can stay and have a bit of privacy + good conversations. Service was attentive and explained the vegan options as well (some cocktails will have egg/milk obviously). A bit pricey for Manchester I'm assuming (around 15 £ for a cocktail) BUT very reasonably priced for what they serve you and offer. Totally worth the experience. 10/10 would recommend!
