Mitre Hotel, The Banqueting Suite

Great location. Nice room. Had a kettle and tea and coffee but no milk? Room was very cold in the night and couldn't be arsed getting out of bed to see if could turn radiator up. Would stay again.

Location not to far for AO arena that’s the only positive thing I have to say the rest very negative! Hotel room had a smell About it (damp smell) wallpaper peeling off walls, mouldy window frames bathroom was tiny you have to sit on the loo with the door open else you can’t use it. Ye workmanship in the room was absolutely horrendous! Paint chipped off the walls, silicone was like a 5 yr old had done it, the bed was so uncomfortable you felt every spring, lobby door slamming all night long and when we left the door handle fell off it was shabby actually embarrassing. I would not recommend this place to anyone avoid at all cost! The bar downstairs is expensive and the staff aren’t very friendly either, saniflow systems in the hotel part keep you awake all night long but the hotel think it’s satisfactory to supply you with earfoams to block out the noise!!! This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stopped in
