As a regular and loyal Marriott guest with elite status, I’ve come to expect a certain level of service, but the Manchester Marriott Piccadilly team truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with a warmth that made me feel immediately at home. The attention to detail at this property is remarkable. The interiors are not only new, fresh, and sophisticated, but they also exude a calming ambiance with their warm pastel tones. It’s a modern elegance that feels both luxurious and inviting. I stayed in Room 602, and it was an absolute delight. The room was spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, offering ample space to relax and unwind. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the amenities provided were top-notch. The large windows allowed natural light to flood the room, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the M Lounge. It’s a beautifully designed space where you can enjoy a variety of delicious snacks and drinks throughout the day. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed, making it an ideal spot to catch up on some work or simply unwind. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service. Emily, the Guest Relations Manager, along with her team, provided a level of hospitality that was second to none. Their courteous and professional demeanour made every interaction a pleasure, and they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect in every way. The Manchester Marriott Piccadilly has set a new standard for me, and I can confidently say that this is now my go-to hotel whenever I’m in Manchester. The combination of beautiful interiors, comfortable rooms, and outstanding service makes it a true gem in the heart of the city. I eagerly look forward to my next stay and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at your establishment. The room I was assigned had a magnificent view of the city. The room itself was aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. I will definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

It's very close to Manchester Piccadilly station - about 3 minutes south of the station. There's a decent bar on-site. Breakfast is reasonable (probably not worthy of a 4* hotel). Rooms are a decent size, with many having king sized beds (at least ours did). It's convenient and close to the city centre, without the melee of Piccadilly Gardens. There's a decent sized gym on site, with a spa as well, though apparently it gets booked quickly.

There were a number of issues during this visit. Each was dealt with competently but I would rather they had not arisen. A recent acquisition, the hotel is undergoing refurbishment. This was relatively unintrusive but did give rise to problems. Originally in #801, we discovered that 50% of the electrics were not working. This required work and we were moved to #818. The living area of the suite had disproportionately few sockets. The inside of one cupboard was unfinished. The second toilet had no spare toilet roll nor was soap provided at the hand basin. Soap had not been provided in #801 either leaving one to enter the shower or lean over the bath. We were out for several hours on two days but housekeeping had not made it round by the time we returned. The car park was not signed with current branding; this led us to pay for nearby parking during check in. In the hotel, clumsily laid out as a relic of its former use, toilets and restaurant are awkwardly located. The M lounge is not adequately signed and, around the property, safety signs are propped up rather than affixed. The lift on floor 1 has only down buttons (no up). The restaurant served a good dinner but breakfast saw two toasters both of which toasted on one side only - one knob removed. Our toast was cooked for us but the 'waiting for parts' does not really cut it. There was no notice at the toasters to advise users. The hotel location is good for access to transport and city centre. We would stay again when it is fully operational.
