Foundry Project opened in November 2018; a contemporary, urban, industrial bar, restaurant and event venue, where the focus is on fun, great cocktails, and funky food. Devouring burgers, polishing off pizzas, good-time people sharing margaritas.
From 11.00am till late daily, it is a Northern Quarter hub of choice for informal company events to all sorts of personal celebrations. Whatever the occasion, for business, pleasure, or a bit of both, the Foundry Project team will tailor the perfect package to suit the needs of the client.
For company Christmas celebrations at lunchtimes or in the evenings, mate groups, and December birthdays, Foundry Project is the hot ticket in town to hang the mistletoe and let the liquor flow. The 2021 Christmas Menu jingles in from just £17.95 per head for two courses. Finger food and drinks voucher packages are also available, from just £19.50 per head.
It is conveniently situated in the Smithfield Market Buildings in Manchester city centre’s bohemian Northern Quarter.
We are 0.3 miles from Victoria Station and 0.7 miles from Piccadilly Station.
The Restaurant facilitates up to 90 people for seated dining, or 140 people for casual and relaxed finger food and drinks on a mix and mingle basis. Sub-divisible areas and table reservations are available for smaller dining groups. This space is semi-private and located on the ground floor.

December 2024Absolutely excellent. The staff were all amazing; polite, friendly and helpful - especially despite some of our guests not turning up last second. Really really great team, everyone of them. The food was delicious. After 14 years in employment, this was BY FAR the best team Christmas dinner I've ever had. I'd never heard of Foundry before, but I was extremely impressed all around. From the initial booking, to the food, to the service by the staff. Absolutely incredible, and if you pick a different venue, you are missing out.

December 2024Your bar tenders taemar and Fred were very good. They knew the skill set well, they were able to make recommendations according to our pallet. They were friendly and fun. They were good sales men too, upping us to doubles. If I were a bar manager again I would want them on my team.

November 2024A time was had let’s just say that. Bottomless brunch with a fantastic selection of drinks and let’s face it that’s what we went there for. It was my 27th weekend and time with the family who travelled from the bottom of the country and this place left a lasting memory to say the least. We were served by Charlie who was super attentive even though the place was packed! Music for everyone’s taste and we were sat by the DJ and to say you get 2 HOURS!!! Of bottomless drinks is insane for the price you pay. If I want to get merry and have a little nibble again I will definitely be returning. Good value for money too I mean look at the bill!!

December 2024Me and a friend came for bottomless brunch. 50 minutes in we hadn’t received our food or drinks, it was busy but obviously this was a little frustrating as brunch is on a timer. Spoke to a member of staff called Taemar.. she basically then gave us the best customer service I’ve ever received! Restarted the brunch timer and made sure we were looked after all night. Genuinely can’t say how lovely she was. Completely turned the night around! I would definitely go there again

October 2024Not the best experience in Manchester. As for the food - I had a full English breakfast, it was delicious and really filling, the girl had avocado toast, it was on regular bread and overall it tasted pretty weird. As for the serving - there are a few weird moments: the spoon they served the latte with was completely dirty (as if they mixed it up and brought it unwashed), there were two hairs in the food (one in the latte, the other in the egg with avocado toast), the table was really dirty and sticky (my plate was so stuck to the table that I couldn't move it lol). As for the staff - everyone was really nice and sweet, thank you for everything!
