GALLERY WHOLE VENUE
The Gallery is the longest running of the Urban Leisure Group venues and there’s a reason it keeps going from strength to strength each year and it’s not just the 101 hand-picked world whiskies.
The team at the Gallery have a real passion for delivering outstanding, friendly, welcoming service to everyone of their friends that comes to visit; walking into the split level ground floor bar is just like heading over to a friend’s house for a night of craft beers, popcorn shrimp, truffle Mac ‘n’ cheese, fried chicken and garlic fries!
As you enter the Gallery the ground floor bar is overlooked by the cosy 25 seater mezzanine which is a great space for smaller groups but if you’re looking for more of a party you can head straight downstairs to the semi-private basement bar which has space for 80 people standing – a projector for your own stills and films and its own separate music system so you can plug and play your own tunes or get a DJ in for your night. The room is perfect for birthdays, engagements, and smaller company do’s.
If you’re a bigger group why not take over the whole venue with space for up to 180 people standing over both floors. You’ll get access to a second projector on the ground floor and could even consider bringing in a DJ or a small band for your night.
The Gallery is open until late every night, but we can also extend the licence for you to as late as 2am! Whatever you’re looking for, let us know what’s important to you and we can work with you to make sure your night is a huge success at the Gallery or any of our other 8 venues!
GALLERY BASEMENT
The basement bar at The Gallery is the perfect space for groups looking for somewhere fun, intimate and very relaxed for the perfect night out.
There is space for up to 80 people standing for exclusive use or smaller groups of 40 can share the space together.
As you head downstairs you’re greeted by your own bar with a huge selection of world whiskies for those that love their dark spirits, but it’s a full bar selection so no matter whether you want wines, beers or cocktails the team can get the right selection sorted for you. There’s plenty of entertainment too as the room has several old-school board games to keep you laughing and free use of our Classic Super Nintendo console for the Mario Kart tournament of your life (and 20+ other games already built in)! Or you are welcome to make use of the projector to display your own images/footage.
Book a DJ or even a small band and we’ll help you get the room set just the way you need it.
Great for birthdays, engagements, and corporate events alike there’s plenty to help make your night great at The Gallery including a late licence to 12 or 12:30 on Wednesdays to Saturdays and your own dedicated team to look after you all night!
Give the events team a shout for more information on the minimum spend required for your date here or at any of our other 8 sister venues and we’ll be happy to help you create the perfect evening.

Was here for a party/drinks. Very good venue and service. Frankie was very good at the bar (despite it being busy) and made a brilliant Old Fashioned. Would come here again and would recommend!

We recently visited The Gallery, a charming bar just a couple of minutes from West Hampstead tube station. The atmosphere is intimate, relaxed, and cosy, with soft lighting and a mix of sofas, tables, and bench seating. One of the highlights is the interior balcony, which offers a great view of the whole bar, though it only has four tables. If you can, I’d recommend sitting there. The décor, featuring vintage-style photos and candle lighting, makes it a perfect spot for meeting friends or going on a date. Prices for drinks are reasonable for London, and they offer a great variety of craft beers, wines, and cocktails. Though we didn’t try the food, the efficient and polite staff made sure we were never waiting long to be served. One downside is the street outside, which often has open rubbish bags, detracting from the overall experience. Still, The Gallery is definitely one of the best bars in West Hampstead, full of personality and worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Where do I start? The place - lovely quirky setup with wooden floors and a vinyl record shelf that catches the eye. In the summer they open the windows and you see the sun filter through. The hosts - super attentive, friendly, very very dog friendly and overall top job! The food - ultimately it comes down to the food and "The Gallery" is hands down my favorite brunch spot in West Hampstead. The £10 menu lets you choose between sweet and savory pancakes with a number of toppings / condiments. My personal favorite is the fried chicken with maple syrup and a squeeze of lemon on a savory pancake. Calling it delicious is an understatement. The quality of food at the price you pay is a great deal. Keep doing what you are doing and you hve a loyal customer in us!
