May 2024I've been twice to McGettigans this month, both times pre football. A bog standard lager was £7 a pint, which is getting near the norm for inner city pubs. My issue was the lack of staff. Just two guys severing on a match day. The pub could have made more money if they had more bar staff. Every time we went to the bar it took up to 15 minutes to get served. On my second visit we got double the amount of drinks when at the bar, but carrying them back to the table in flexible plastic was a pain.
