Super close by to the Hampstead station! Recommend reading the website before booking as the rooms are smaller but it’s a bed and breakfast and it was built in the mid 1800s. Lorenzo was the sweetest and so accommodating. We actually arrived to London extremely early and gave us our room early too (by luck/ chance) but it helped us it lagged travelers from the U.S. He also helped us call a taxi for the airport too and showed us to our room. The continental breakfast was great and the woman helping out too was so kind. When we visit London again in the next couple of years will definitely come back here and I want to see Lorenzo too!

Wasn't sure what to expect after booking, but it exceeded all my expectations and then some! Lorenzo was so welcoming and friendly, and we enjoyed drinks in the bar, served by Alex, who was really friendly too. The B&B itself is beautiful and full of interesting history. I attended with my Mum and we loved our room - it had everything you need for your stay in London - and for a brilliant price too! The continental breakfast was delicious and the staff serving that were lovely too. Can't wait to go back and experience more of this wonderful B&B, as well as the surrounding area! Thank you so much Lorenzo and the team!

Le Gaffe has a lovely team that goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and accommodated. The only thing I would comment on is that it would be helpful if guests had more clarity about the room they will be staying in. Otherwise, it’s a sweet and cozy place to stay in a fantastic location. Many thanks to the team at Le Gaffe

I came to London to see Taylor Swift at Wembley stadium and stayed a few days for some sight seeing/touristy activities - I had a great stay at La Gaffe! I stayed in their single room, which is their smallest room. They openly advertise as being very compact, and it was...But I'm not traveling all the way to England just to sit in a hotel room all day so I honestly didn't care. But if you're traveling with a second person or prefer more space, I'd definitely suggest one of their larger rooms. My room was very clean...I wiped everything down with a disinfecting wipe upon my arrival (I do this at all hotels) and it didn't pick up a speck of dirt or dust! I prioritize cleanliness at hotels over room size, so I was very pleased. The room did not have air conditioning, but there was an overhead fan that kept temperatures comfortable on the two sunny days of my visit where outside temperatures reached 75f/24c. Breakfast is a plentiful selection of cold foods - they had croissants, rolls, bread for toast, hard boiled eggs, meat, cheese, and a selection of cereals. They also have condiments like Nutella/jam/butter, as well as juice, milk, water, and a basket of fresh fruit. The food and drink options were frequently replenished throughout breakfast so nothing ever ran out. They also have an espresso machine and will make you any coffee drink of your choosing, which I loved. I was perfectly happy with croissant sandwiches and lattes every day! The staff at La Gaffe were very kind. I tripped and injured my ankle while sight seeing during my stay; they gave me ice to help with the swelling and told me where I could find the closest pharmacy in case I needed anything. They also gave me good directions on how to get back from wembley stadium late at night, which I appreciated. Location wise, La Gaffe is great. There is a tesco express grocery store within a 5ish minute walk of the hotel that is open daily until midnight, so it's easy to grab snacks, a cheap meal, or a cold drink at any time during your stay. There is also a pharmacy, tons of restaurants, several bakeries, and many clothing stores nearby so there's lots to do even on days when you're jetlagged and don't feel like venturing far from the hotel. The hotel is a quick walk to the hampstead stop on the Northern line, which leads directly to tons of popular areas including Camden market, covent garden, Leicester Square, and Westminster. The walk back to the hotel from the hampstead stop involves quite a hefty hill though, so be prepared for a workout if you have luggage with you! All in all I'd absolutely recommend la gaffe to anyone looking for a great, affordable, no frills stay and I'd absolutely stay there again.

nice hotel with very kind hosts! very basic but super delicious Breakfast and even though it's an old (but clean!) building with thin walls, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely come back when in London! Moreover, the fact that Hampstead Station is just a 5min walk away, is great!
