I had the pleasure of staying at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London City with my family, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and offered an incredible view of the iconic Tower of London – a highlight of our stay! The level of service provided throughout our stay was nothing short of exceptional, and the attention to detail made all the difference. I look forward to our next stay!

My stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel was overall enjoyable, but there were a few hiccups. The biggest issue was the check-in process. Arriving at 3pm meant queuing out the door, which was completely unacceptable. It seemed to take an average of 5 to 7 minutes per customer to check in, and staff did not appear particularly empathetic to the long line of waiting guests. If you're planning a stay, I would strongly recommend avoiding a 3pm check-in to dodge this inconvenience. That said, the Front Manager was very helpful when I raised my concerns. They listened attentively and resolved my complaint professionally, which allowed me to move on and enjoy the rest of my stay. The highlight of the visit was the attentive and polite staff throughout the hotel. Housekeeping, in particular, deserves high praise for maintaining the room to an exceptional standard. The room was immaculate, with thoughtful touches such as a complimentary bottle of wine, coffee, and toiletries that really enhanced the experience. Despite the initial hiccup, the hotel redeemed itself through its excellent service and well-maintained facilities. I would consider staying again but would definitely plan to arrive outside peak check-in times.

Excellent hotel conveniently situated around 100 metres from Tower Hill Underground Station. Staff at the hotel were very pleasant and efficient. Rooms were large for London and immaculately clean with great facilities. Fantastic pool. Would have given 5 stars but needed a bit more attention to detail. The shower gel container in our room was empty. Getting a coffee at breakfast was problematic, 2 machines out of order, and the other two unreliable causing big queues. I have to say the rest of the breakfast experience was excellent, and there was also a lovely view of Tower of London and Tower Bridge out of our room window.

I recently stayed at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London City and found it to be a mixed experience. The location is excellent, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. The lobby and common areas are modern and welcoming. However, my room left a bit to be desired. It was clean but smaller than expected, and some amenities felt a bit dated. Additionally, the staff were polite but not as attentive as I hoped, which affected the overall service experience. Overall, it's a decent hotel for a short stay, but there are areas that could use improvement. I might consider other options for my next visit.
