December 2024The atmosphere was very good. All staff is extremely nice and professional, especially Yolanda, our host. Everyone were really looking after us here. We had chateaubriand which was nicely prepared. Side dishes and drinks were amazing as well. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice dinner with family and friends.

February 2025We visited last week Wednesday for an anniversary meal. The entrance was a little hard to find but once inside we couldn't fault anything. The service was great, the food delicious, maybe one of the best meals we have had in the past couple of years. The bill when it arrived was reasonable for the quality of the food! And we had a complimentary desert for our anniversary (which had to be dairy free) which was a lovely touch. We are looking forward to returning!

January 2025We went to Gaucho Richmond for the two course winter set lunch menu. We tried the beef tacos and prawn chicharrons for starters and the rump steaks for mains. We also got a complimentary cheesecake for our anniversary which was lovely. Our whole experience from the time we got there until the end was outstanding. Our server Anton was friendly, polite and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will return soon

February 2025Terrible Valentine's Day Experience: The restaurant has a prime location by the river, with easy access by various modes of transportation. We booked the Valentine's Day menu two weeks in advance for £110, which included an appetizer, main course, dessert, and wine to share. We arrived early for drinks, but there was no room at the bar, and the outdoor waiting area was uncomfortable, with the heat constantly shutting off. The restaurant was packed, which negatively impacted the experience. The tables were too close together, and the noise was excessive. The quality of the food was disappointing. The steaks were bland, and the chimichurri sauce didn't meet expectations. We were charged an excessive price for an extra steak, £52.50 instead of the additional £10 we expected based on the Valentine's Day menu. It was even higher than the price on their regular menu for 100g less. The stubborn manager didn't acknowledge the error in the menu and only offered a 15% discount after a long discussion. It was like arguing with a mule who discriminated by asking about our origin. The best thing, and what keeps this place afloat, is the good service from the waiters and waitresses.
