I really wanted to love this place since I live nearby and there's no other coffee place in the block, but I don't. First of all opening times are just odd, opens late for breakfast, closes early for aperitivo, and it's closed on Sundays which is probably the only day people would make those opening times! Also, they're almost always late in the morning, so no chance for me. Second -ane most important- it's the baked goods offer. It's simply not good. There's so much competition offering excellent pastries (Maison du Papy, Gail's, blank street coffee, etc..) just a few minutes away that it's not worth spending your money on some expensive and below average croissants. Pret is better to be honest. Coffee is good, but that's not enough. Not saying they shall be like Jolene, Fortitude or Pophams, but at least chose a better supplier and with more range & display. Third is the environment, it's quite nicely designed but lacks of personality and looks flat overall. They're targeting students but fail to recognize that students are sophisticated consumers these days, it could be much more hip, have plants or nice music and design items for sale on the walls. Gave 3 stars as encouragement because I really want them to succeed but would be lower at the moment.
