Conceived as a ‘house of delight’ for James I’s queen, this former royal residence is set against the leafy backdrop of Greenwich Park.

The beauty of The Great hall, with its original marble floor, provides a spectacular location for up to 120 people to dine or in theatre style for presentations.

The Orangery and South Parlours offer a beautiful location for drinks receptions or daytime meetings. Celebrations can be continued in the Undercroft.

    The National Maritime Museum in London is a captivating destination for history enthusiasts. With free access using the Go City London pass, it's a fantastic value. The extensive exhibits on maritime history, including fascinating artifacts and interactive displays, make for an engaging and educational visit. Additionally, I enjoyed a complimentary ride from a volunteer from the museum to the Royal Observatory, which was a thoughtful touch. However, be prepared for a bit of an uphill walk to reach the Royal Observatory if you choose to go on foot. The stunning architecture and beautiful Greenwich location add to the overall charm. Highly recommended for a budget-friendly and enriching experience.

    We went during the half term, and my boys loved it & and it's a free entry. What a fantastic museum. The Nelson room was interesting. Photography of astronomy was good.it makes maritime subjest interesting for kids to learn and see all. It's easily 2 to 3 hours there.

    This is a superb museum. Set in glorious parkland and in a beautiful building it houses an huge collection of artefacts. It is set out over several floors and caters for children as well as adults. There is activities for the young ones, a great cafe and outdoor play area. It is totally free to enter and worth the trip to Greenwich. Also next door is the Queens House which is also free to enter.

    One of the best experiences for anyone with a love for maritime history. Full of artifacts, stories, interactive displays and much more. Kids will be easily enthralled by all the little details, and of course a playground with appropriate theme. The cafe is lovely albeit almost always full, but the fishy aroma is on brand. Don't forget the park and the surrounding areas, the best of Greenwich is just around.

    Greenwich comedy festival. Great location and great comedy. Reasonably priced drinks and food. Let down by the amen jerk BBQ who couldn’t get their credit card machine working so refused to serve me. Thankfully the toasted sandwich outlet was better organised and served a great sandwich.
