21 Portland Place, the home of the AAGBI was built in 1776 and is an elegant 18th century listed building, originally built on the 'Grandest Street in London'. It is a Grade II listed building, and contains a wealth of attractive features. Particular fine examples are the ceilings of the main rooms - the Portex and the Intavent Suite - which incorporate ornate moldings and paintings into their design. The house was bought by the AAGBI in 2002 and has been modernised to create a fully functioning office and meeting venue whilst respecting the beauty of the building.
The Abbott Forum is a spacious, versatile function room, featuring a splendid vaulted ceiling, glass roofed atrium and catering area - an ideal place to dine, entertain or relax.
This is a perfect location to host a reception, lunch, formal dinner or exhibition.
Arranged as a dining area there is adequate seating for up to 55 people.
