April 2025I've been a member at Jaegos for a year now. All the feedback I'm about to share has been fed back to the team already. The concept and team at Jaegos are fantastic. The reception team and crèche time are all superstars - my children love them and they all do a fab job. So one big star for the team, we love you guys. The events are also great, during our time at Jaegos we've petted reindeers, met bluey, rode on mini toy cars and taken part in countless themed story sessions that are always well executed by the kids club team. So another big star for the events team. As someone considering become a member, there are a few things you need to be aware of as the club does have some flaws. The food is incredibly overpriced. We're talking £14 for a chicken panini, £8 for a small children's pizza and £11 for a single patty burger with no sides. That's the prices before the mandatory service charge. The classes do not have any development. My daughter has been doing the same things in ballet for a year. We are now looking at other local clubs for her because she's not learning anything new in the classes at jaegos. You have to set an alarm for 7am and pray to the reformer Gods to get a place on a class. By 7.03am, all the reformer spaces are gone. By 7.30am, all the popular kids classes are fully booked. When the school holidays hit, it is impossible get a crèche booking. All the school age kids that could be in the holiday club take the crèche spaces which means those of us with little ones are suddenly without childcare. I am about to set a 12am alarm just to get a crèche space for next week! Given the difficulty to book things in and the lack of new content in the classes, I am often left wondering "why am I paying for an all inclusive membership?!". On the portal right now, there isn't a single hour available in the crèche on any of the bookable days. It is possible to make friends but you have to put yourself out there. Also, it is worth noting that half the adults at the club are nannies. Would I recommend the club? Yes. Is it perfect? No. Do I get really frustrated with the operational elements? Yes. Am I going to leave? No. It's a love hate relationship. Ok, off to set my 12am and 7am alarms so that I can make the most of my membership 😴
