First of all the restaurant is very modern and cozy, also spacious. And it was the perfect choice for a late Sunday breakfast. The pancakes are super delicious and fluffy. Everything else was also really good. Coffee & chai was super tasty. Great breakfast / brunch spot.

I enjoyed brunch at Where The Pancakes Are at their Fitzrovia branch. While there aren't an abundance of flourless options available on the menu, you can easily swap any of the regular buttermilk pancakes for the 3-in-1 pancake, which is gluten free (not celiac safe), vegan, and dairy free. I appreciated the server taking extra time to mention and address cross contamination concerns. I ordered the Boulder, which was a delightfully fluffy pancake accompanied by smoky tahini (wow), chilli roasted squash (the standout), cherry tomatoes, a chickpea-tabbouleh, and smashed avocado. My only complaint was the lack of any seasoning on the avocado. It was quite literally... a smashed avocado. I suppose I received exactly what I ordered, but I would've expected some elevation given the price. The pancake itself was good enough that I'm open to trying other pancakes in the future! Overall, this is a fun place for breakfast or brunch. There are a few options that could satisfy those with multiple dietary preferences. Check it out!

We visited for breakfast on a Sunday. We ordered the pancakea with brisket, which were two large thick pancakes with brisket beef and sauerkraut in between mixed with a cream sauce and topped with melted cheese. It was really delicious, but we thought that the amount of the meat was a bit little than expected. We also ordered the seasonal carrot cake pancakes, which came as two very small pancakes in a cast iron skillet topped with lemon sugar glaze. It was good, but if you don't like raisins, you may not like it as it was full of raisins. The service was good.

Other than we waited 45 minutes for pancakes in which I believe the batter is already prepared, the idea of all day pancakes sweet n savory was lovely. I still believe the wait was ridiculous. However, the host was amazing n provided us with a discount, I appreciated that but still 45 min on a none busy time was unacceptable.
