City Academy at 10 Herbal Hill is our new Flagship London venue offering easy access from Farringdon, Angel or Kings Cross.

The building, formerly a dance school, has 12 performing and creative arts spaces including dance studios with new flooring, natural light, high ceilings...and a purpose built theatre, roof-top terrace to come.

All spaces are available to hire from 8am seven days a week, subject to availability. Spaces range from small rooms for 1-2-1 coaching to studios for more than 100.

Located in the bustling neighbourhood of Farringdon and just 5 minutes from Exmouth Market and Leather Lane, City Academy is the perfect location to enjoy international street food from the weekday market. Unique gift shops, historic pubs and trendy bars make this area the
perfect spot for browsing before your event.

If your hire of a space includes bringing children to the venue, you must let us know in advance and we will require a copy of your safeguarding policy. Children must be chaperoned by an adult within the building.

Highly recommend CITY ACADEMY!! The people there work with love and passion for PERFORMANCE ART!! Not just a job. Uceh, Elizabeth, Peter, Chris and all at CITY are very helpful and make me feel very welcomed, even though a Beginner in the 4Weeks Singing Intensive. The Teachers were just incredible- Experienced, Dedicated and got our back to ensure an experiential, learning experience for us all. My classmates were the Bestest!!!! From every location in the world, some experienced, some beginners but all very supportive and kind. I LOVED MY TIME THERE!! And Look forward to another 4Weeks or more next summer. Amazing environment with lots of different creatives to learn from. I had an amazing time being there, location is also perfect ! Did the Screen Acting Intensive and our teachers Darren, Mark, Toby and Victoria were absolutely amazing. Would come back anytime !!!!!

I cannot recommend Accent Softening for Business enough! Mark, the tutor, was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful, making everyone feel comfortable from day one. What truly stood out was how he tailored the class to each student's specific needs and challenges, ensuring we all made real progress. The sessions were not only effective but also so much fun! Mark’s engaging teaching style and the supportive atmosphere made these classes the highlight of my week. I always looked forward to attending and walked away feeling more confident in my speech.
