Went to a event a couple weeks ago, and the place the was great, little tricky to find but its a hidden gem in Dalston. The bar next to it is also a great little addition

Avoid This Venue at All Costs I had an absolutely terrible experience with this venue, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone—especially if you're a promoter hosting an event. At first, the manager, Jeffery, seemed like a reasonable person to deal with. However, I quickly realized that none of his promises were ever fulfilled. I booked the venue seven weeks in advance, expecting a confirmation contract shortly thereafter. It took three weeks for the contract to arrive, and even then, it was the wrong one. When I asked Jeffery to correct it, he agreed, but I never received the updated contract. Despite following up multiple times, he kept reassuring me that everything was under control, but I never saw any proof. Eventually, Jeffery stopped answering my calls entirely, which left me extremely concerned about my event. Instead of calling back, he would text me, claiming he was in meetings and promising to return my calls—this happened over four times. I finally called him from a different number, and to my surprise, he picked up immediately. It was clear he was deliberately avoiding my calls. I directly asked him if there was anything I needed to know about my booking, and again, he assured me everything was fine. However, he continued ignoring my calls after that. Worried, I sent him a detailed message expressing my concerns and reminded him to secure the late license for the event. He replied that everything was “all good.” Then, just four days before my event, I texted him to arrange access to the venue for deliveries. He didn’t respond. Three days before the event, Jeffery called me to say there had been a fight at the venue the previous weekend, and my event was canceled. Can you imagine this happening to you? This person is completely untrustworthy, full of lies, and unprofessional in every possible way. Because of Jeffery’s negligence and dishonesty, I lost over £10,000 in investment. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from this venue. And my genuine experience is a warning to anyone concerned it. Avoid it at all costs. He disappointed everyone, including those who had paid for flights and hotels from abroad to see the artist. This was a major letdown for the promoter, who had worked hard to bring the community together.
