Having visited London many times, I've now found my go-to hotel. The rooms were great, as was the location close to multiple Tube stops and the British Museum. The staff was friendly, helpful, efficient, and professional. We could not have been more pleased. We only took the Tube a few times because we walked to many of the places we wanted to visit.

Best thing about the hotel is its location. West End, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Soho all within short walk and British Museum is right behind it. The hotel itself is in a pretty old building but well decorated inside and appears classy. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. If you skip housekeeping you get a £7 voucher to be used in the bar or restaurant. Perfect for a drink. The only strange thing I found is it being a 4 star, there's no provision of tissue and lotion. But overall a pleasant stay.

Stayed in Junior suite, great size for 3 adults. Walking wardrobe, mini bar, tv in both area's. Good access to tube with Oxford street, Covent Garden and Leicester square all walking distance. Staff all friendly and accommodating. Breakfast covers most choice and hotel restaurant reasonably priced.

Just back from a two night stay, our standard room on the top floor had seen better days but it was peaceful, with a nice view, good air con and a decent size (for London). The location is perfect for the British Museum also handy for Covent Garden and the West End with a couple of decent pubs just across the road. Breakfast was pretty good too and staff friendly.

Extremely Disappointing Experience Due to Racist Treatment!! I'm compelled to share my appalling experience at this hotel, despite being a reputable chain. On my recent visit, my group and I encountered overt racism at the entrance and reception. The evening reception staff displayed blatant disrespect, rolling their eyes and refusing to assist us. Their behavior was unacceptable and made us feel unwelcome. They literally treated us like garbage. That is the level of disrespect I am talking about! The evening reception staff displayed blatant racism, rolling their eyes, making us feel like we didn't belong, and refusing to assist us with our requests. Their behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply hurtful. It's unacceptable that in today's world, people still face such discriminatory treatment based on their race. As a frequent traveler to the UK for work, I've never faced such racism. I'm shocked and disheartened. I hope the management takes immediate action to address this incident, provides necessary training to their staff, and ensures that such behavior is not tolerated in the future. Until then, I will never set foot in this hotel again. I usually do not put up reviews but this was just unacceptable!
