Humble Grape Fleet Street
1 St. Bride's Passage, London, EC4Y 8EJ -

A bigger, plusher sister to James Dawson’s original Battersea wine bar, Humble Grape Fleet Street aims to replicate its sibling’s success with a similar formula. The wine is sourced from smaller vineyards with a focus on the biodynamic, organic and sustainable. Supporting the vinous stars of the show, there’s a contemporary menu including tapas-style plates. Hidden amid the side streets of Fleet Street, this larger, 334sq m site – within a vaulted Sir Christopher Wren-designed building, no less – has more event options. As well as piggybacking on the in-house tasting sessions, organisers can work with the venue to create dinners and drinks receptions.

March 2025Attended for their Women in Wine event on 11th March and it was exceptional. The staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The venue was gorgeous. We stayed for food after which never fails to disappoint. Highly recommend.

March 2025We were served by three lovely attentive waitresses. I do not know other names but Eric was a young fine kind waiter with a smile and enthusiasm to introduce wine and menu. We had a great birthday party with a free yummy cake. Thank you 🙏😊

February 2025Perfect concept. Small dishes to share. Well seasoned with a twist. Nice selection of wines. Great atmosphere and staff. Could be my favorite place. Ah - don't miss the warm Madelaines. Hmmm.. so good!

March 2025Attentive service by a happy staff. Nice atmosphere, casual, unpretentious, with discerning patrons nevertheless. Food was promptly served and well prepared. Fresh and flavourful. Great range of wine. A new go-to place around Blackfriars for me….
