All of our rooms enjoy natural daylight from floor to ceiling windows, black-out blinds for presentations, and sensory features such as walls of silver birch trees or a large scarlet circular table.

Each room is named after a fictional spy from British film or TV, and contains a collection of the spy curiosities (fencing masks, chemistry sets, crossbows and black boxes) to match. South Place hotel can become your personal playground, where you and your guests can eat, drink and be merry.

Le Chiffre, our private library bar and lounge is ideal for informal daytime meetings or evening engagements, your very own speakeasy for one night only… let us provide bespoke snacks, cocktails and lounge entertainment for groups of up to 60.

My favorite hotel in the City. Just steps from Moorgate or short walk to Liverpool St Station, great rooms, cool vibe, nice restaurants and bar. Food is good downstairs and Michelin star upstairs. Quiet area on weekends, but pubs and restaurants short walk nearby.

Two nights in a dream room. Perfect mattress, marble bathroom and chic decor, everything you need to feel good. The welcome was worthy of a 5-star hotel. And the breakfasts were copious and excellent. Thank you to the staff for their kindness and elegance.

A Gem in the City: South Place Hotel Review Moorgate's South Place Hotel isn't just a place to stay, it's an experience. Opened in 2007 by hotelier Sharan Pasricha, the South Place Hotel has become a haven for design enthusiasts and luxury seekers alike. My stay began with a warm welcome from the reception staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when I (sheepishly) realized I'd left an expensive piece of jewelry behind in my room. Thankfully, the reservations team had everything sorted within minutes, a huge relief! (Friendly reminder: Always double-check your belongings before checking out!) They can honour a late check-out. However, be warned, if over the graceful period of 12:30, a £20 surcharge will be added. Now, onto the room itself. I stayed in a Junior Suite, and let me tell you, it was pure luxury. Imagine a space that's both simple and modern, yet undeniably striking. Think clean lines, high-quality finishes, and a massive swivel Bang & Olufsen TV – perfect for catching up on shows after a long day exploring London. The real showstopper, however, was the bathroom. Imagine a spa-like haven clad in marble, complete with fluffy robes, slippers, and high-end toiletries. Just a word of caution for the vertically blessed: some of the art installations hang a little low, so watch your head! But the luxurious touches don't stop there. Every detail is considered, from the Dualit toaster for that perfect morning slice of bread to the control panelled blackout curtains that ensure a blissful night's sleep. Speaking of exploring, the South Place Hotel's location is simply unbeatable for city breaks. Getting around is a breeze thanks to excellent public transport links: Underground: Moorgate Station (Northern Line) and Liverpool Street Station (Central, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan Lines) are both within walking distance. Trains: Moorgate Station offers access to various National Rail services. Buses: Numerous buses stop nearby, connecting you to all corners of London. Whether you're a business traveler seeking a stylish retreat or a tourist wanting to explore the city's vibrant energy, the South Place Hotel caters to your every need. From the impeccable service to the luxurious rooms and unbeatable location, it's a place that will leave you wanting to extend your stay.
