Extremely pleasant stay. Was also running a course for the week. Exceptional staff who provided an attentive and professional service. Anthony deserves a shout for his friendly and helpful attitude throughout. James in reception was a further stand-out individual. The ladies at breakfast were extremely helpful and professional as well.

Me and my boyfriend recently stayed here for a night, and it was lovely! It’s in a great location for the city centre. The rooms were spotless! All the staff were really friendly, Liam was really helpful, nothing was too much trouble! We would definitely stay here again, and have already recommended to family and friends!

Zoe did the check in with me. She was very helpful with information for the hotel and the city. I really appreciate her helpfulness. The personnel I was in contact with also were polite and helpful. Location of the hotel is great. In walking distance from Square One, Royal Albert Dock, iconic Royal Liver bird building, and James Street station. I liked the policy of the hotel to pre-order the breakfasts or to order hot breakfast on the spot. It takes a bit more time ,but it saves a lot of food, that is prepared and must go to the waste if prepared and not consumed by customers. On the other hand sounds insulation of the rooms is not great. I expected more extras in the room like bathroom slippers for example. Overall I left the hotel with positive mood. Thank you Zoe

Generally a good hotel, complimentary glass of fizz on arrival was a lovely touch and very welcomed with it being a Saturday evening. All the team we encountered while we were there were very pleasant and efficient from the reception, to the bar and the restaurant for breakfast. Location wise it’s perfect for everything, plenty of car parking near, comfortable rooms (I’ve seen a few reviews saying the beds were uncomfortable, I can see why because the mattresses are very firm, but I love a firm mattress so was very comfortable), but I would agree generally they are quite dated. Breakfast was good, a nice selection. I do feel like some of the reviews that say the breakfast is rubbish are potentially being a bit snobby about it? But it was very pleasant, seated quickly, food was replenished often and the team working were again very pleasant.

We stayed here on Sunday and had an overall pleasant experience. The room was spacious with a beautiful view, which was a nice touch. However, we were surprised to find that there was no mini-fridge in the room, which would have been a convenient addition. The walls seemed a bit thin, as we could easily hear our neighbor’s phone conversation at 7 in the morning, which was a bit disruptive. On a positive note, the room service was excellent. Even though we arrived late and were tired, we were able to enjoy a drink in the comfort of our room, which was a great way to unwind after a long day.
