March 2025I regularly stay in Leonardo Hotels as their beds are always super comfortable and they have really effective blackout blinds for a super night’s sleep. This visit I upgraded to their executive room, which came with sparkling water in the fridge and vouchers for a coffee and a drink in their cafe/bar. This was great because, as a solo female traveller, it gave me the perfect excuse to take my book downstairs for a bit. The service was so warm and friendly I felt perfectly safe and sat reading for nearly two hours! My only tip is that my bath was too shallow to have a relaxing bath. But it wasn’t the end of the world 😄😉

February 2025We stayed for one night at half term, had too rooms, our fifth floor room was very nice, good views of of the city and the other room was on the second floor looking towards the conference centre. The staff were very friendly, polite. The down side was the breakfast, not worth the money. Also a large hotel should never run out of basic things like eggs, blaming the delivery hadn't arrived, they should not have run out in the first place. They had lots of Liverpool fans staying,so they should have known it would be busier than a normal Monday morning.

February 2025Room had stains on carpet, shower had black mould, no handle on inside of shower so couldn’t close door properly. Shower head needs replacing. Breakfast was poor as the hot dishes weren’t hot, in fact it was barely warm.On the whole very disappointing considering the amount we paid. In all good faith I could not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only upside is the location of this hotel central to shopping and museums.

February 2025When I stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Liverpool, I was really looking forward to a comfortable night and a good breakfast in the morning—but unfortunately, neither lived up to expectations. The first issue was the heating in the room. No matter what I did, I couldn’t turn it off, and the room felt like a sauna all night. I tried adjusting the thermostat, but it seemed to have a mind of its own. Opening the window helped slightly, but then I had to deal with the noise from outside. Needless to say, I barely slept. In the morning, I went down for breakfast, hoping to start the day on a better note. Unfortunately, that didn’t go well either. The eggs were completely undercooked—runny in a way that was just unappetizing, with the whites still translucent. When I pointed it out to a staff member, they didn’t seem too bothered and just told me to try another batch. But even the next serving was barely any better. Combined with the lukewarm coffee and overcooked sausages, it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. By the time I left, I just wished I had skipped breakfast and gone somewhere else.
