Discover Hawksmoor Liverpool, nestled in the iconic Grade II-listed India Buildings, just steps from Castle Street, at the corner of Brunswick Street and Fenwick Street. This stunning venue features a 165-cover restaurant, a 30-cover bar, and an 18-cover private dining space, all inspired by the grand optimism of the roaring twenties. The restaurant celebrates this legacy by showcasing original fittings and antique finds from the era, such as reclaimed street lamps from 1920s Paris, now transformed into glamorous brass-trimmed ceiling lights.

Hawksmoor Liverpool offers semi-private options for parties of up to 80 guests, making it ideal for various events. With canapé and bowl food menus, we are the perfect for casual gatherings in our bar area, private dining room, and restaurant.

The restaurant is available for full hire events, which can accommodate up to 140 seated in the dining room and a bar suitable for pre and post drinks.

The New Yorker Room, is our private dining room seating up to 18 guests around a large table and is located just off the main entrance. This space celebrates the historical ties between Liverpool and New York, including the contributions of one of the building’s architects, Herbert Rowse. The New Yorker Room features specially designed sharing menus that showcase classic Hawksmoor dishes, including our famous dictionary-thick steaks. Meals are served family-style, with steaks cooked to order and presented in cast-iron skillets, accompanied by our legendary sides and sauces. For dessert, enjoy large sharing puddings to complete your feast. Our expert wine team can pair your meal with perfect wine selections, and we can even create a bespoke cocktail for your event.

Great for corporate functions, meetings, private dining social events and get togethers! Prices start from £47pp.

I brought my sister here for a belated birthday lunch. The staff were all so friendly and attentive and went the extra mile by putting candles in my sisterw cake and desert. Food was delicious. Loved it that much I have since booked private dining for my small wedding. I'm sure we will back plenty of times in the mean time.

If you want a classy meal in fantastic surroundings then this is the place you want. Fantastic place, knowledgeable staff that can't do enough to make you're visit as pleasurable as possible. A first rate place to go for steak and fantastic wine

Very good this place has been on my list of Liverpool restaurants for some time, finally got a chance to visit , it didn’t disappoint, skip the brunch menu, straight to the rib eye.. fantastic Just one thing “the extra charges” I’m seeing more of these, the inclusion of a £1 charity donation and then a 12 1/2% service charge , I’m not sure what I think about this. On one hand I think this is not the USA with the staff not even earning minimum wage, and I choose my own charity donations thanks! Then on the other side what’s a pound and the restaurant team will be very good as they’re very well-paid? ..

Great place to eat and the food was absolutely gorgeous. Portions are big so careful how much you order!! Quite expensive though for 3 of us with only a cider and soft drinks had the bill came to £260 🥴. Staff absolutely fantastic with just the right level of attentiveness.

Came here for a Family members big Brithday celebration last night, I know some members of our party where unhappy about something last night but this is may review so will be reviewing based on my options. My food was lovely that I had Last night, I had picked from the alternative menu and had the Roasted Chicken. Was much bigger than I expected. I ordered the Beef Fat Chips as my side which where amazing. 😍 Chose a drink I wasn't sure about but loved, the Cornflake Milkshake. Very nice. Also wanted to say that Cameron our server was fantastic last night, he was very knowledgeable about all the food and drinks people had questions about. He was very friendly, I'm sorry I didn't get chance to tell him all this and thank him last night.
