As it happened to be both of our birthdays, Lily went above and beyond to ensure that our celebration was truly special. Upon her suggestion, we indulged in the lobster and baked oysters in bone marrow, and let me tell you, they were absolute showstoppers! Cooked to perfection, each bite was a burst of flavor and delight. What truly impressed me was Lily's dedication to ensuring our satisfaction. When my friend expressed a desire for something not currently available on the menu, Lily didn't hesitate to spring into action. She went the extra mile, literally running to the shop to procure the requested item in time for our starters. We visited for our first time yesterday and we loved it. The decor in the restaurant looks stunning. We were seated promptly and were made to feel welcome. All of the staff were exceptional throughout and were readily available. We tried the limited edition 'Big Matt' burger, which tasted amazing. It is a ramped up version of the other burger with a similar name. When I say ramped up, I mean in every respect, as it was bursting with flavour. The beef dripping fries on the side were lovely too. We also tried the pineapple soda and strawberry & cream soda. Both of these tasted so fresh and we were very happy with our choices. Looking forward to visiting again to try some steak!

We visited Hawksmoor last Sunday for a family birthday celebration. The ambiance at Hawksmoor is warm and inviting, perfect for a special family gathering. The décor is stylish yet comfortable, with a blend of modern and classic elements. The service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our meal. We had the Sunday Roast with roast beef, and it was delightful. The meat was exceptionally tasty, and the gravy complemented it perfectly. We also tried the carpaccio and the English salad, both of which were very good. For dessert, we indulged in the sticky toffee pudding and the sticky toffee sundae, and both were incredibly good. The cocktails were also excellent, enhancing our overall dining experience. The only disappointing bit was discovering their own branded beers came in a can and not on tap. While Hawksmoor is on the higher end of the price spectrum, the quality of the food and the exceptional service made it worth every penny. The portions were generous, providing good value for the money. The restaurant was impeccably clean, including the dining area and restrooms. We observed that hygiene practices were followed diligently, which was reassuring. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Hawksmoor. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for our family celebration. Highly recommend for a special meal out.
