Our first visit to NQ64 in Leeds, and Kai served our drinks, he was so welcoming and friendly. He really made a great impression for our first visit. He added a lot of fan fair to our evening. A solid addition to the bar.

If you like your arcade-style gaming mixed with some themed cocktails and drinks - this is the place to be! The theming is very dark and black light heavy - expect to be a little disorientated as you walk into the venue. It’s all decorated really well, all the tables graffiti’d up with relevant gaming tropes and Easter eggs. The arcade games available are coin operated - with the venue having their own coins which is a nice touch! The pricing is about right for the gaming - coming to just under £1 or 2 tokens per play. £8.50 for 15 tokens. We especially love the rhythm games they had available - the Mai Mai machines being very sought after and Guitar Hero Arcade. Mario Kart arcade was another favourite but it was unfortunate that the photo functionality was not working.

Sorry if you do food! We came in late for drinks and gaming! Found this was a recent opening, we love the manchester one so decided to make this a definite on this trip to Leeds. The bar staff were all lovely and friendly. The atmosphere of this place was fantastic and such good fun for old gamers and modern gamers alike! The artwork was impressive, the playful graffiti dotted around was a nice touch and the uv lighting was fun but not too much. I want to point it a nice touch to have a playful button in the ladies toilet....If you know you know! The Mario gameboy controller was a nice touch not seen in many gamer bars (and we've been to a lot!) Had people chilling, people dancing and people just enjoying a fun gaming session with friends! If you're a gamer or fancy a different type of night, give this place a try! X

Attended a preview night to test the games. The venue is nice and welcome addition to Leeds' growing list of bars, especially if you're looking for a place to play arcade games and drink. The menu has a good selection of cocktails, so you should be able to find something. Most games aren't free to play (though the emulators are) but you can buy 15 tokens for around £8 at the bar, which is decent to try them all out, though quickly becomes expensive for games like Guitar Hero and maimai. Some of the games were already starting to show signs of wear (having been bought from other vendors/used in other bars), and one wouldn't accept the tokens we were given.

This bar is a good addition to Leeds but they need to sort out the bar service as it took almost 15 mins to get drinks due to the very slow cocktails they were making (they did look good though) . If they added a bar service area that was for non-cocktails, so you could get a round of beers quickly , it would much better. Bar prices are very high when you eventually get one! Away from the bar, there's plenty of variety of really old arcade cabinets and newer dance/shooting/pinball games. I wished they had more than just two pinballs but both seemed almost brand new. There are four free to play consoles (is an xbox one now retro?) , which obv makes very difficult to get on one and you can't change the games loaded up. We had many tokens not register in machines, we asked about it but no one came to sort it, bar was just too busy to try and ask again. So be prepared to lose some of your tokens you've bought. Overall, a nice bar with a good atmosphere but it's expensive and slow. I'd pop in again if I was passing but wouldn't go out of my way to visit again.
