Being around a third of a mile from Oxford street is the winning feature of this hotel. London hotel rooms are small but wow the room here was tiny. The room was clean and the bathroom recently refurbished but the lack of any cooling made the stay a little uncomfortable. Would I stay again? Probably not there are better options a nearby at a similar price.

We stayed here for 3 nights of our honeymoon. Another reviewer put it best... Whoever was their photographer should probably get a raise. The rooms are fine, just a lot more snug and dated than you might expect from the pictures. When we first showed up for our 2pm checkin we were immediately told checkin wasn't until 3pm (maybe 4pm?). I pointed out that the website and email we received both say 2pm checkin, and the staff member quickly replied "the website is wrong." On a good note (ignoring the confusion during checkin) all the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was actually pretty good as far as hotel breakfasts go.

We went to the hotel here for my birthday. The staff was very friendly. Two friends from Switzerland planned a little surprise (Prosecco, dinner and cake) Unfortunately I saw this surprise at the reception as they still had to prepare it. And unfortunately we didn't know anything about dinner and cake, so we made a reservation at another restaurant. When we were on our way in the evening, the dear gentleman came and told us that we were having dinner at the hotel today because our friends had planned it. Unfortunately we had to postpone this. He told us to let them know when we came back as there was still a birthday cake for us, which we did. Unfortunately, no cake arrived and neither on the last day... We booked with breakfast, but had to pay 5 pounds per person every morning to be able to eat warm food... which I found very shocking because I spent a lot of money for 3 nights! It's a shame. The staff were actually very nice and the location of the hotel is great!

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in all my life. Maybe I could classify it as a 2 star hotel. Service is very poor and they are not helpful. There is no air conditioning (it is now 30 degrees in London), so it is impossible to sleep. No fridge in the room and also they don't accept to put beverages in the kitchen fridge. The room is very small. No plugs close to the bed, so not possible to charge the mobile close to me. The lift is not working. I had to climb the stairs with my logadge. I'm only staying here, because already paid and it is impossible to get the refund. I recommend to never stay in this hotel. Very, very bad.

Our recent stay at this hotel was far from pleasant. The lack of air conditioning made our room unbearably hot, especially during the warmer days. Adding to our discomfort, the hotel has no soundproofing whatsoever. We could hear every conversation and noise from the corridors, making it nearly impossible to relax or sleep. Beds are very small. To make matters worse, our room door had a large gap at the bottom, allowing light and even more noise to flood in. It felt like we had no privacy or peace. The bathroom was also a major letdown—extremely tight and uncomfortable to use. The only redeeming factor was the location, which was convenient for accessing local attractions. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to compensate for the overall poor experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and restful stay.
