February 2025Great location. For 4 stars hotel the room is lacking (old furniture, hard mattress, old rug). The room size i have is decent, but amenities can be better (no room slippers). Breakfast is your typical english breakfast so its descent. The bathroom is new but drain is a bit clogged. Overall i don't think live up to 4 star hotel standard

February 2025The hotel was clean and bright. However the room 217 was VERY cold my estimate was around 12°C. In other words, below both the levels expected by law in a prison and as an acceptable working environment. On leaving the lady at reception pretended that this was the first time she has had such a complaint. I called her out on this as she did know there was a problem, her wry smile gave it away. This hotel has now been added to my London avoid list as has Gem hotels due to this receptionists level of care for guests.
