Our newly refurbished 4 Star Hotel is perfectly located among stunning gardens just off of the A2. When you choose our venue for your function or wedding you can be sure that you will get the highest standards of service and the very best value for money without compromise.
Should you wish to hold a civil ceremony at the Holiday Inn Dover then you can choose to get wed in our gorgeous gazebo located in the landscaped gardens of the hotel, or in one of our two licensed rooms.
We also have a number of different rooms for your wedding reception. The Octagon Suite is a wonderful intimate room that is perfect for a smaller wedding, and the elegant Olive Tree restaurant is available for a reception with a larger guest list. However, if you’re looking for something even bigger, our Grand Marquee comes complete with its own starlight canopy, dance floor, Air Condition/Heating, Toilets and bar area.
We also have 68 en-suite bedrooms that are available to you and your guests at discounted rates so that you all can enjoy our facilities!

We held a large reception here in the marquee following a family funeral. Events manager Sashen was extremely helpful when we were arranging it and nothing was too much trouble. On the day, Sashen and his team provided excellent service. The buffet was beautifully presented and the food delicious. Thanks to all involved, will recommend.

I recently held an event at the holiday Inn in the Grand Marquee, it was amazing. The whole event team were so helpful from beginning to end, especially on the night, they made sure everything went smoothly. This is the second event I have held there and will certainly come back again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy hotel with a nice atmosphere. Gave the rooms 4 stars as the bathroom needed a little maintenance, the toilet felt like it was coming away from the wall and the shower screen seal was a little old/grubby, we meant to mention the toilet to reception when we left but we forgot. The beds were a good size, very comfy and nice pillows. Breakfast was also very good. We charged our car over night in the hotel car park. Easy to get a space and chargers were also easy to use. Would definitely stay again if visiting Dover.

Close to Dover castle! Had plenty of gluten free options at the restaurant and gluten free options for breakfast (gf bread if asked for it) Thin walls so we heard the room next to us. We also had our sound machine so it was fine. Shower could have been cleaned better. We needed a bed for our 3 month old. The pack n play they provided wasn’t the cleanest and they didn’t have a sheet for it. We ended up just having him sleep in bed with us. My grandparents got a handicap room. Fit the wheelchair nicely. The bar by the toilet made it a little snug. Staff was nice and helpful. Might be time to clean the dead flies off the display shelf with the items you have for sale.
