Amazing day out. My kids loved the pedalo, water maze and archery 🏹. House and gardens were stunning. Would have been nice to have access to more. Tour needs updating, but kids liked the interactive parts. Playground is enormous and very well thought out. Website needs to be clearer as to which events are on. Were disappointed falconry display had been cancelled without notice. Frustrating when it advises you to plan your day ahead of arrival. Didnt see anything on website about which sections are closed for weddings or for how long either. But as a first experience family we're very happy and made the most of what was available to us.

Went on the last summer weekend of events and we loved it. The jousting show was captivating and funny. The audio tour of the castle was well done and the gardens are in such a beautiful state. Would recommend to anyone, great day out.

Absolutely stunning visit to Hever Castle. The gardens are wonderful, and I wish I'd had more time to walk all around the lake. The water maze was fun for all ages and got a chuckle out of everyone watching. The real star of the show is the castle itself. Beautifully maintained, the interior is stunning. The curators have done an incredible job of combining the history of the castle as restored by the Asters and the recreations of how it would have looked when the Boleyns lived there. The exhibits give plenty of details and tell the story in chronological order (you'd be surprised how often this doesn't happen), and yet it's not overwhelming. The audio guide stops were the perfect length for each room. Overall, a wonderful visit and I hope to bring my family back another time.

A delightful place to visit. The gardens are truly beautiful as you'll see in the photos. The castle itself is steeped in History from the reign of Henry VIII and tragic Ann Boleyn to the Astor family. I was there for many hours but could still have spent longer, I just ran out of time. In terms of facilities, there are a few places to buy food and drinks and I would definitely recommend trying one of their ice creams. Food and drink prices are quite high.but the quality is good. You can of course take a picnic if you wish. Toilet facilities are good and also clean. Parking is free and plentiful. There is an excellent gift shop with a huge range of mementos and other goods to buy. All in all a great place to visit, for the gardens alone it is more than worth it
