Chilston Park Hotel, Fitzhammond Suite

We got married at Chilston Park in August, and it was nothing short of perfection. We opted for the exclusive use package, which catered to every need. Most of our guest list were international guests, and being able to host everyone comfortably under one roof for the full weekend was incredible. From the food to the helpful staff and gorgeous grounds, I highly recommend choosing Chilston Park for your wedding if you are looking for English elegance. A lovely afternoon spent having afternoon tea in this former manor house, hotel and restaurant. Picturesque surroundings with gardens and lake. Afternoon tea was very nice, well presented and enjoyed by all. Service however was less than satisfactory. After being seated and ordering the service became adhoc, constant reminders, going to the bar etc to complete the service. Thankfully our birthday girl enjoyed the experience.

Lovely countryside location, friendly and efficient check-in - started well:-). Large room but very warm, one window did not open, the other tethered with 10cm gap making the it uncomfortably hot, fan provided was not enough! There is no buffet at breakfast, you have to order everything, took 10+ min to order a coffee, after complaining things did improve but far to slow as you can't even get a glass of water:-(. For the price paid service was unacceptable.
