I recently stayed at the Cave Hotel, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the modern amenities one could need. What really stood out was the calm atmosphere — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast was incredible. I left feeling refreshed and thoroughly satisfied with my stay. Highly recommend!

Stayed on Saturday night - the hotel was clean, modern & rooms were very nice! I wasn’t happy with our first two rooms due to noise coming from the bar / tent area. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating - they moved us to an outstanding room at the end of the complex which was quiet & luxurious - the Korean Cowgirl bar had a great ambience & we enjoyed our experience. Dinner at the Firepit was excellent - although pricey, the food was very good & I was happy to pay for such an experience and for a special occasion! The spa & pool are small & intimate, clean & well maintained. The staff were outstanding, they couldn’t have done more to make our stay enjoyable! A special mention to Leanne who went out of her way to make our stay memorable & resolve our original room issue - which to be fair wasn’t the hotels fault, they had a large golf society day which was quite noisy, but not something the hotel could have foreseen! Lovely and relaxing stay & would stay again!

I had booked the cave hotel for a surprise birthday trip for my wife and it was a great relaxing stay for us both. We found that staff were very tentative and helpful with anything we asked and I liked how the holding payment could be used for food and drinks, our evening meal was in the cowgirl and was really nice I found the platter for one was really tasty. We did have breakfast with my wife’s really nice but I didn’t enjoy mine but that was just me. We are looking forward to coming back!

The Cave where do I start… so it’s not as luxurious/ fabulous as tiktok makes it out to be so here are some key points you need to know before thinking of booking with them. Upon arrival you are charged with £150 “credit” which was never stated to us. I know on the cave’s website (due to researching) it is on there but because we booked with an external website it was never stated? If you have these set rules please state that on ALL external websites or make it very clear. Also be aware they TAX everything as in a £40 meal will be taxed heavily… even a cheeky water (which typically is always free?) we had to pay for, diabolical if you ask me. So we had one of the cheaper rooms, thinking we got lucky… well boy oh boy was we shocked when we got the disabled room. Now you’d think they’d let us know prior “just to let you know you’ll be staying in our disabled room as you got a cheaper room” but no, no notice. Which brings me on to my next point when you go to hotels they typically offer “free beverages” or as The Cave states “complimentary drinks”, well that complimentary drink is a can of water and if you want drinks out the fridge your probably paying £10 (including tax) which isn’t giving “complimentary” at all. Here’s some not so important factors but can cause slight inconvenience: 1. No slippers given considering it has a spa? (We had to ask for slippers) 2. The kettle wasn’t filled up with water prior (but our disabled sink is tiny so how are we meant to fill up the kettle) 3. Stains on the floor? 4. Cold toast, it’s literally toast not hard to keep warm? 5. Broken sink which made loud noises. 6. We ordered drinks to the pool which came longer than expected and not even garnished like the picture? To conclude the only good thing about that place was the customer service but that can’t fool us and we will not be returning. Not worth the journey of 3 hours or even 5 minutes, save your coin!

We were the band hired to play at a wedding. Looked like such a nice place and the food we had was nice but the entertainment was completely ruined by the poor sound. We had to use their in house system and were not allowed any amps or speakers at all. The drummer HAD to use electric kit only so we played a 7 piece band through six small speakers on the wall at the other end of the room to the dance floor which sounded like my phone and these speakers in the ceiling which were fuller but still had no bass end at all. It was ridiculously quiet and was causing us to feed back at low levels. I cannot speak for anything else but if it was my wedding I would have been upset. If you are looking for a swinging wedding party it's going to be difficult here.
