Once inhabited by Bridget Dame D'Oyly Carte, the sole Heiress to The Savoy, used most recently as a BBC film set for Gordon Ramsay and trusted by leading brands such as Dior, Facebook & Thomson Reuters, our ancient woodland is set in the rolling Chiltern hills, a Classified Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surrounded by native wildlife, flora and fauna just a stones throw away from London.
Throughout the 87 acres are a series of large tables for communal dining, meticulously hand carved from fallen trees by a local craftsman as well as a large sunken firepit for toasting marshmallows and cooking equipment.
Coverage is provided in the form of two large stratus tipis which can comfortably cover up to 100 guests. In addition no woodland would be complete without its own wood fired sauna, wood store, field kitchen and plenty of storage. Lighting, heating and electric come as standard, meaning a hassle free hire without any unpleasant surprises.

What a lovely day, from the warm welcome on arrival, thought the very interesting foraging your to the delicious lunch, it was perfect. The lamb was the best I’ve ever had, smoky, buttery and so tasty. Beautiful location in the woods too but the day was really made special by being able to watch the cooking over fire in the open air kitchen and the interactions chef Bart has with the guests. Wonderful experience, highly recommended.

If you are looking for a totally unique experience for a corporate event then look no further than Nomadic. I recently booked Nomadic for a private company Awards Dinner and I’m so glad I did! The feedback from our guests was amazing. It’s a beautiful setting, the food was delicious, the service was great and nothing was too much trouble for Noah and his team on the night. We also booked a forager, he was a great addition to the agenda and again something totally different. Not forgetting the support from Rochelle with all the planning. Thank you Team Nomadic it was a great evening and we will be back. 👏👏

This is the 2nd time I have been to Nomadic Dinners, as the last visit (a couple of years ago) was amazing. This time round it simply wasn't as good, and maybe that is because I was comparing it to my previous experience. The food was good (not exceptional), however the thing that was different was the atmosphere and overall experience. Last time, the chefs visited each table personally and described in detail what they had prepared and the process behind each course. This time there was no interaction at all (other than a poorly managed Q&A at the end) with the chefs, so no explanation of what you were actually eating. Maybe its simply because the 'event' has grown significantly in size over the years and is now no longer 'personal'. Overall, good food... but not a great experience.
