For the past eighteen years, I have made one enjoyable visit to this course each year for a charity competition. This year the course was in pristine condition. All fairways and greens were immaculately kept. "Well done" Ground Staff. If you are not familiar with the course, a warning: in many places the fairways slope left to right or right to left. This can be very problematic for long erratic hitters. The staff in the club house were very friendly and efficient. To me the food menu was basic, but good. The atmosphere in the bar was pleasant.

challenging, hilly course with steep fairways and great views of local areas and posh houses. It's well-maintained for a public course but lacks maps, and walking can be tiring. It borders Moor Park and offers varied play—some suggest it’s irons only, but drivers are useful. Good value and ideal for beginners, recommended for its scenery and overall experience.

The first visit to tricky Ricky and the nickname suggests it is a ticky course. But a good course. The tee offs are having worked done reading the course for winter 16th September 24, but all player able, greens were in good condition. There is a bar area with seating inside and out for a nice cold drink. Also, a small golf shop where you can hire trollys and buggy you will need to book in advance if you want a buggy. I will definitely play here again. Good value for the price.
