Forest Lodge Hotel, Glasshouse

Very welcoming hotel. Really super staff. Cosy feel. The building is a tiny bit run down but expected due to it's age. Food good could improve a tiny bit for the price I paid. But I'm not slating it! I really had a lovely stay here. Made to feel welcome. Doggie friendly. Just overall could do with a teeny bit of a refresh everywhere but that does not mean I would not come back. Thank you.

Breakfast service on the Sunday,was a shambles,staff were clueless,no idea who was doing what,20 min wait for a run of the mill pot of Tea,from placing our order for breakfast to it getting to the table,50mins,still waiting for the brown sauce!!,when this was mentioned to the person who looked like he was supposed to be in charged,the following was his reply " maybe tomorrow will be better"if that's how it is,we won't be rushing back,On a brighter note Breakfast on Monday morning went like clock work,we were the only ones in the dining room !! But a mention to Kelly,she remembered us from a previous stay,her service at breakfast was fantastic
