Eden House Hotel is being elegantly refurbished to provide modern facilities whilst keeping its original character. The hotel has 21 spacious en-suite bedrooms. Messed up a group Christmas meal, booked several months in advance. Food was passable but definitely a downgrade from our meal earlier in the year (they've changed management). Staff were polite, friendly and very accommodating for our more disabled members. Maybe it was just the Christmas rush, so I will recommend but tentatively.

After seeing some of the reviews I was a little apprehensive but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were excellent, very helpful and the breakfast very tasty with plenty of choice. Yes the room was a little tired but it was very clean and for the price I felt excellent value for money. I would have no issue spending another break at this hotel. It was also within easy walking distance of the town which was also a bonus. Well dine Eden House Hotel
