Edit - so, sadly the Andrew Carnegie building has closed and the library has moved into the new build Parkhead Hub on Duke St, it's now fresh, modern and bright, with clean lines, comfy chairs, and windows letting light flood in. I'm just a little perplexed why you have to go through the cafe area to get to it? Currently the cafe isn't open yet, but when it's full of customers I'm not sure it's going to work dodging round tables and the food queue to enter the libraryspace... Great wee library. The staff are actually what make it. So helpful, chatty and go out of their way to do their best for you. The actual permanent selection of adult books is really very small, but thankfully Reservations from the entire Library Stock are once again active! Plus there's always a nice themed display and New Books table, good for a nosey, to supplement their stock...

Unfortunately I wasn't in the library. Nice new building, all different services in the one building
