Wonderful! I will long remember the fabulous Scottish painters in their own gallery. But, while I loved that section, the remainder of the museum was very impressive. For the size of the museum, which was not overwhelming, the pieces to be seen are impressive… I went more than once in the week I was there and enjoyed it more every time… and lunch was convenient and good at the restaurant.

With several exhibits of modern art and then rooms of art from different periods of Scotland's history - from old religious art to art by Scotts when studying overseas under the masters. The gallery has a cafe and locker rooms - very good. The patio outside is a great viewing platform for the city
