Excellently located hotel for visiting Edinburgh due to having excellent transport links to centre of Edinburgh 2 mins walk from tram station and main line Scot rail station. Both being around 10 min journey to centre of city. Also airport is 15 mins away by taxi or bus. Hotel has great facilities including indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room with a gym on the premises. Hotel also has bar and restaurant and a really good buffet breakfast in the morning.

We had a fantastic stay! The hotel is super family-friendly, with a great atmosphere and a wonderful swimming pool. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Thank you for making an exception and moving our booking when we couldn’t arrive on Sunday due to the train strike. Your flexibility and understanding were truly appreciated. We are always happy with Novotel and will continue to stay only here. Looking forward to our next visit!

Very corporate feel - probably the aim. Great for a night. Rooms spacious and clean. No complimentary water in the room which is a standard these days. Breakfast overpriced for what it is. Eggs not made to order. Swimming pool was nice, however steam room cold-ish. Would recommend for a short stay only.

Business Stay at NOVOTEL Edinburgh Park I stayed at NOVOTEL Edinburgh Park for business and found it very convenient. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from both tram and train stops, offering quick and direct access into the city centre, as well as a short 15-minute walk to the business park. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was good, and the breakfast was great. A special mention to the staff — Melavin at the front desk, Zuzzana in the bar area, and the housekeeping team — all were very pleasant and chatty. When I requested an extra quilt as the room was a bit cold, it was brought up very quickly. One thing to note: if you are a light sleeper you can hear the trains from the room. Also, my check-out experience was poor — potentially due to IT system issues, language barriers, or a lack of customer experience awareness — but it didn’t overshadow the overall positive stay. Despite that, I’ll be returning monthly and would still recommend the hotel for convenient business travellers. See you in April!
