I received a very warm welcome from the staff at the reception. Room is really lager than most I have seen in Edinburgh, it is clean and offers the possibility to open the window to ventilate the room. The swimming pool is warm, clean and comfy. Many thanks to Alex, the receptionist manager, for his kindness and support.

Extremely impressed by all the staff. Very professional and friendly. Either they are carefully selected or they have a very good training program! Room was well equipped and beds/bedding comfortable. Rituals bath products. Liked that you can open the window to ventilate the room if you wish to.

We recently stayed at Novotel Edinburgh, and I cannot express how incredible our experience was. My partner had arranged a surprise for my birthday, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special. The room was beautifully decorated with a stunning bouquet, rose petals, balloons, and card. It was all so thoughtfully arranged and made the occasion truly unforgettable! Aside from the surprise, everything else during our stay was perfect. The staff were extremely kind and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel’s location was also ideal, with a tram stop right next to it, making it easy to explore the city. Our stay at Novotel Edinburgh was more than wonderful, and I can’t thank the team enough for their excellent service and attention to detail. They made my birthday celebration truly magical, and we will definitely return for future stays. Highly recommended!

Good rooms with nice views. Appreciate the windows that you can have them open if needed, but not the quietest hotel. Breakfast is not great, lacking variety and flavour. Parking available for a charge, but you may get a discount inside. I feel it was always busy as lots of buses with tourists will turn up at any hour. Trams at 5 minutes distance.

The hotel was nice, albeit a bit older than we expected. It would have been helpful to know how to access the pool. I had to ask an employee restocking the towels for the door code to get into the area to walk through to get to the pool. Our room was clean, but we did have to call down to the desk because our tub wasn’t draining and some of the bath fixtures were falling off or in need of repair. A bit disappointing for the price. Breakfast was pleasant enough and was fresh.
