Old Gore, Exclusive Hire

My partner and I celebrated our wedding at Old Gore on the 2nd November - it was honestly the perfect day! Tom, Molly, Clayton, Emily and the rest of the team were so fantastic from initial booking two years prior, to the big day. They answered any queries we had quicky and efficiently, and their online portal was so handy for referencing our quote/menu choices. The day ran so super smoothly, and the food was outstanding (even with over 100 hungry adults to feed!) I would really recommend booking a 'Feast Night' if you get the chance - we went to two before our wedding, and have already booked another in February! They provide such a good and authentic idea of what food your guests will experience on the day! I truly could not recommend Old Gore enough - if you're contemplating booking them, do it! We got married at The Old Gore on 31.10.24 and it really was the best day ever! The venue was the first one we saw and we knew instantly that we loved it - and that was clarified by attending a feast night before we actually booked our wedding, which was a huge bonus and sealed the deal for us. The building and grounds were absolutely stunning on our autumnal day, so many guests commented on it's natural beauty. The team at The Old Gore were all fantastic, professional and fun! Tom was our coordinator for our day and he was brilliant, so organised but so relaxed which kept us calm too. Every single member of staff worked so hard they never stopped and we're so thankful - nothing was too much trouble. Leading up to the day it was so easy to chat with the team and ask any questions which was comforting for us. Now on to the food - absolutely incredible. We're big foodies and this was another reason we chose The Old Gore and oh my gosh the chefs did not disappoint! The canapes were delicious and seemed to just keep coming! For our wedding breakfast we chose the steak and it was exceptional. It was exciting and entertaining to see it being cooked outside on the grill; another little highlight for us and our guests. The cook on the steak was perfection and again, it just kept coming! We had steak, fries, salads and sauces in the sharing, banquet style and it was one of the highlights of the day. Many of our guests said it's easily the best food at a wedding/ event they've ever had and we couldn't agree more. Our dessert was scrumptious and our evening food also so tasty, and as it was pizza it was easily delivered to the dancefloor in slices! It really was the best day and we wish we could do it all over again, and we will be back for many feast night's to come!

We are considering getting divorced just so we can get married all over again at Old Gore! I can’t rate them highly enough. They were absolutely amazing and so efficient throughout the entire planning process and everything ran so smoothly on the day. Emily was absolutely fabulous and put me so at ease on the day and handled everything. We had so many comments from our guests on what a stunning venue it was and how great the food was.
