January 2025We had our wedding at Old Gore in October 2024. We viewed only 3 venues when starting our wedding planning, all Cripps & Co venues, and whilst we liked them all, Old Gore was without a doubt the venue for us. It was a unanimous decision straight away from myself, my now husband and my mum. Old Gore is the perfect balance of Cotswold classic barn styling with a modern industrial twist. We had a large wedding and the venue layout is perfect, plenty of space and rooms so you can move around but everything is so well connected. Food was a priority for us and after going to a feast night, we were in love. The menus are so flexible so you can get exactly what you, but everything is delicious so it's a hard choice! We have a lot of veggie and vegan friends and they were all raving it was the first wedding they've been to and didn't feel like they were just being served the side dishes. The vibe was exactly what we wanted: a romantic ceremony, a cosy family-style meal and then a cracking part with Deloris the disco ball! And even better we could have our little fluffs with us too. The whole team at Old Gore are incredible, all so friendly and helpful, communication was amazing through their portal and my 1001 questions where no trouble to them. I work as an event manager so was worried I'd want to micromanage on the day, but I felt so comfortable and confident in the Old Gore team, led by Alex on the day, that I didn't have to think about a thing! Everything ran exactly to my timings and how we wanted. We couldn't have asked for a better team to have worked with for 18 months and brought our incredible day to life.
