Old Gore

Lucy and I celebrated our wedding here in June 2024. Throughout the wedding planning process, Tom and the team really made us feel as though our wedding was the only event they were hosting. The food was absolutely amazing and we have had so many compliments from friends saying it was the nicest wedding food they ever had! (We visited twice beforehand at their ‘Feast Nights’ to sample the food - which was a great way to involve our parents in the planning). The venue itself is so beautiful and has so many extra touches to make the day unique to you as a couple. Our friends and family loved Pepe for the aperol spritz hour and the addition of Delores the disco ball. Old Gore was so refreshing and unique as a wedding venue and we can’t thank the team there enough for the most perfect wedding!

We got "that feeling" when we came for a viewing at the Old Gore and knew it was the venue for us. We had absolutely no idea how to go about planning a wedding, but from the first viewing, the lead up to the day, to the big day itself, the staff at the OG couldn't have been more helpful. The feast nights were a fantastic way of getting a literal and metaphorical flavour of what our day would look and taste like, and it made us so excited for our day. Almost three months on, people still rave about the food at our wedding- it was a hugely important part of the day for us and we couldn't have been happier with it. We wanted something a bit more relaxed and "us", but that everyone would enjoy and that tacos and pizza were perfect for that. Emily was a wonder on the day- the perfect professional, keeping us calm and guiding us through the day and looking after us and our guests wonderfully. The Old Gore is everything we wanted in a venue. Excellent staff, fantastic food, beautiful buildings and setting. We wish we could do it all again! Thank you so much OG, for enabling us to create the perfect wedding day.

Nastasha and I celebrated our wedding at Old Gore in May. We had the best day and couldn’t have asked for more; such a beautiful venue. Our guests had the best time too! Emily and the team were amazing from the first viewing all the way through to the big day. We loved all the extras the venue offers too, which we made the most of - from Delores to Pepe and the roll-out bar. Having Emily and the team around made everything run so smoothly and meant we could just relax and enjoy the day. Thank you all so much again!
