Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport, The Ringway Suite

This was a stop off before an early flight out of the UK. As a Hotel.com Gold member, I'm supposed to enjoy discounted food and drink and an upgrade if possible. There was no mention of any upgrade and yet the hotel clearly was not full. Re the food discount, I had to ask.! Both things were slightly disappointing. Imagine my feelings had both been proferred? A shame really. The hotel is otherwise fine. The breakfast offering, however, is very good and the staff were great and very helpful. A bright finish to our stay.

Can't fault it except one thing only! We couldn't get a drink at the bar without having to eat at the hotel restaurant it was attached to. Not essential but we did miss it since we weren't eating at the hotel itself due to a prior arrangement. Otherwise it was lovely and the room was superb. The bus service they provide to the airport terminals was excellent too. Thank you Clayton.

A modern hotel very close to terminal 3. The staff were lovely and our room was clean and modern. The food in the restaurant was good for this type of hotel. The shuttle bus service was superb and could not be faulted. The only gripe I have was there were no draught products available at the bar as the cooler had broken and it had been like that for 5 days hence only 4 stars. With a high foot fall this should have been sorted.
