We work hard to make sure that every wedding is unique and memorable as the couple that are tying the knot. Your wedding package will be built with you to make sure that every element is exactly how you want it, with the option to include as many or as little features as you desire. Every request, no matter how big, small, or unusual is always welcome!
All the weddings that take place at The Angel Hotel are catered for by our fantastic Castell’s Restaurant. They serve up high quality and locally sourced dishes that truly make the most out of seasonal produce. When it comes to your wedding breakfast you can take the reins. You can choose one of our set menus, or even work alongside our catering team to create a bespoke menu just for you.
We understand that planning your wedding can often be a stressful process, with all the individual elements that you have to consider. You will be assigned your own wedding coordinator to help you through the process, who will be equipped with a wealth of experience and advice. On your big day, our fabulous team will be on hand to take care of every detail allowing you and your partner to sit back and enjoy your celebration.

Very helpful reception and restaurant teams. Clean and well kept in a traditional interior. Lovely meals and accommodating bar service. Our room was very large. We will definitely be coming again. Very good value.

We had a great trip. The hotel is old and the rooms are very dated. A slight smell of damp in the corridors. However, saying that, we had a great stay. The beds were comfortable, check in was very easy and all the staff were very nice. The breakfast was the best buffet breakfast I have had, black pudding was lovely and everything was very hot which isn't normal for a buffet. The price for the hotel was the best I could find in the city centre and the location is great. Would definitely stay again

Used this hotel when we went to a gig at the old CIA in Cardiff. Rooms were lovely and really warm, bar was reasonably priced and staff in the hotel from cleaners to manager were all incredibly polite. Clearly an older building but well kept and very clean. Short walk into the heart of Cardiff nightlife and would stay again without a doubt.

I didn't stay the night but attended a conference for the day. Buffet lunch was very good and provided a selection of sandwiches, other savoury snacks and delicious desserts. The hotel is situated in the centre of Cardiff close to public transport with the bus station and Cardiff Central station nearby.

We always stay over Christmas, the stairway looks amazing. The room we had was lovely. The Christmas atmosphere nil. Had to ask three times for someone to serve behind the bar, very poor service. Had breakfast early this morning early must have been cooked at six , bacon hard and overcooked. The whole breakfast was luke warm. It's a shame really because we will not stay again .
