Fab place, rooms are lovely, air con in the room is great. Windows are good - no outside noise despite being within easy walking distance of the city centre. Lovely restaurant and bar downstairs.

Lovely hotel and helpful staff, swimming pool and sauna is great. Everything you could need is in walking distance. Only thing that lets them down is the price of parking.

Had a good stay at Hilton Cardiff overall. Rooms were newly renovated, so everything was clean and nice. Breakfast and room service were amazing, and location was too. However, only one lift was working, so waiting time was long for both leaving the hotel and going up to rooms.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean as you would expect. But we sadly had an issue with the air con, when it was turned on it would leak above the door to the room directly onto the tile floor. We had to have the air con on due to the heat of the summer. We informed the front desk and was told whilst we were out to dinner that it had been fixed. We woke the next morning to a huge pool of water that I slipped on and hurt my back. (I didn't see it and the slippers just slid from underneath me) I informed the front desk again and was told someone would be up at around 8:30am to fix it. We had two young children staying with us as well and I expressed concerns about them slipping. By 9am no one had turned up. We put down 3 large towels to soak up the water, but we decided to check out as it just wasn't safe. On checking out we got our car park fee refunded and money off our breakfast but sadly, it did nothing for my bad back and the 4 hour drive I faced to get home. We were hoping for a more relaxed morning! Shame, as the hotel was lovely. I would stay again but not that room. (412)

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Positives: - Staff were friendly, courteous and professional. - Provided with some cakes and complimentary drinks for our anniversary - much appreciated. - Great location. Negatives: - Leisure suite is very tired. The pool floor has been replaced, but tiles are missing in the pool area, there's a rip to the ceiling fabric that's been taped with gaffer tape. The steam room is out of action and in the shower - tiles and grout were missing, so the water is no doubt making it's way to the floor below... - Stuff was breaking across the hotel - front door, lift, fire alarm... - The room didn't have any drawers, loads of space in the room but design seems to be aesthetics over usability. The same in the bathroom - low down hand towel holder and sink is where the door opens - just a bit odd! TL;DR - Great location and friendly staff. If booking for the leisure facilities, then probably best to go to their rivals, as the facilities are tired and not great.
